While filling out the application form, you can choose multiple BSc specialisations available at Saveetha University. However, after the release of the merit list candidates can join only one programme according to the eligibility criteria they're qualifying. Before applying for BSc courses candidates must note that they can pursue only one undergraduate programme at a time. However, Saveetha University provides free foreign language through language labs and certification programmes from respective departments, in which students can apply simultaneously with their degree. 

Saveetha University Chennai reserves seats for the students, who belong to SC/ ST/ BC candidates. Additionally, the university also provides reservations for students from weaker sections of society. The percentage of seats reserved for BSc students is not explicitly mentioned on the official website of the university. After graduating from Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences BTech programme the candidates have a range of career option to choose from including software engineer, data scientist, IT consultant, network engineer, information security analyst, project manager, quality assurance engineer, technical writer, and product manager.

For MBA and ME/MTech programs in Saveetha Engineering College, admissions are offered based on TANCET and CEETA PG entrance examinations. However, for B.Tech programs, admissions are offered based on TNEA, which is a state-level entrance examination for engineering admissions in Tamil Nadu.

Admissions to Saveetha Medical College can be obtained only if students qualify for entrance exams of the respective courses. For medical courses like MBBS, it's not possible to get admission without appearing for the NEET exam. Without qualification for entrance exams, one would not be eligible for admission. Entrance exams might not be required for non-medical courses like B. Sc or BA. Technical courses like engineering usually require entrance exams like JEE Mains.
