The SIMATS DPharm course admission is based on the merit released by the university's admissions department based on scores achieved in Class 12. Candidates can choose to apply online or offline mode for Saveetha University admission. Check out the step-wise application process below:

Saveetha University DPharm Application Process 2025:

Go to the official page.

Click on the link ‘Admission’.

Fill in all the required details and upload a scanned copy of the candidates' signatures and passport-size photographs in the next step.

Pay the Saveetha University DPharm application fee via credit/ debit card or through net banking/ challan.

Below is the offline step-by-step process of application at SIMATS:

Visit the admission office of SIMATS Chennai. Note: The candidates along with the parents/ legal guardian should report to the university during working hours of the admission office i.e., 8:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Obtain the prospectus along with the application form attached by paying INR 1,000 in cash or DD drawn in favour of Saveetha University.

Follow the instructions mentioned in the prospectus to fill out the application form.

Send the duly filled and signed application form to the official address.

Document Submission

In the online application process, candidates can attach their relevant documents at the time of filling out the form, while in the offline application process, candidates are required to submit a hard copy of all relevant documents after filling out the application form. Some of the important documents are:

• Class 10 mark sheet and passing certificate
• Class 12 mark sheet and passing certificate
• Passport size photograph
• Aadhar Card
• Caste Certificate (if applicable)

Selection Process

The university will release the merit list of the students on the basis of their Class 12 scores. Additionally, Shortlisted candidates may be called for a counselling session to verify documents and confirm admission.

Admission Confirmation

Shortlisted students can secure a seat in the course after paying an adequate amount of the course fee. The total tuition fee for DPharm at Saveetha University is INR 1.2 lakh.

Saveetha University offers different types of scholarships to its DPharm and other course students. SIMATS scholarships are available in the form of fee concessions, relief in tuition fees, freeships, etc. Additionally, the university claimed that the average percentage of students who benefited from scholarships /free ships/ fee-waivers by Government/ Non-Governmental agencies/Institutions during the last five years is 40.75%. 1: Merit Scholarships to Overall Subject Toppers

• First Position: 40% of the total tuition fee waiver.
• Second Position: 30% of the total tuition fee waiver.
• Third Position: 20% of the total tuition fee waiver.
• Fourth Position: 15% of the total tuition fee waiver.
• Third Position: 10% of the total tuition fee waiver.

2. 75% Fees Scholarship for Students with 90% and above marks in Physics, Chemistry and Maths

3. Sports Scholarship for the National is 50%, State is 25%, District is 20% and Zonal is 10% in tuition fees.

Saveetha University also provides free education to the weaker section of society. The eligible students are admitted to the course without paying the admission fees, hostel fees and tuition fees.
