Yes, admissions at Saveetha Institute of medical and technical sciences are entrance and merit-based. Admission into this school is students-only when they qualify for the entrance exams in their respective feilds to take admission. If a student wants to take admission in the medical field, then he or she has to qualify for exams like NEET, etc. For engineering the aspiring candidates need to qualify from exams like JEE mains, TNEA etc.

Nonetheless, there are certain dates for entrance tests such as TANCET for MBA and M.Tech programmes and NEET UG for MBBS that can provide us with an idea.
