Why to choose Shiv Nadar University?

Placements: The university has a dedicated center called the Career Development Center for students to take care of their careers. This center takes care of your interests, such as whether you want to pursue further education, what your preferences are for that and whether you want to get a job after this course. Depending upon your choices you have requirements on your CGPA, Attendance Rates, and a few other skills, you are offered jobs and universities to further carry out your life.

Infrastructure: The university provides you with a 24*7 Wi-Fi facility, hot water, could water, labs for your every research interest, digitalized classrooms, 24*7 medical care in the HCL healthcare center on campus, a 24*7 library, and a mess facility available pretty much around the clock. The university also has an indoor sports complex and many more outdoor games. There are dedicated gyms, yoga rooms, dance studios, recreational rooms, food courts, Cafes and much more.

Faculty: The course is a multidisciplinary programme. You will not only learn what you are opting for as a degree but also a lot more courses that are of your interest. You have faculty who help you in every class to learn better, and teaching assistants who are always there to help you.

Other: The university is totally worth the money because the level of education you get there is not comparable to any other institution in India.

Review of Shiv Nadar University.

Placements: Product development, software and financial service based companies recruited students from 2018 batch. Some of these companies are Dell, Mother Dairy, Infotech, Cognizant, American Express, Goldman Sachs etc. Recruitment drives for B.Tech students are conducted at the beginning of the semester itself. Apart from final placements, internship drives are conducted on campus for junior batches. The college has a placement cell which is thoroughly engaged in this process. The school of humanities is comparatively younger, therefore, one cannot comment on its placement potential.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Wi-Fi facility is available, and the data usage is limited to 3 Gb per week. The academic blocks and library are air-conditioned. Our library is one of the best features of SNU. Food provided in the mess is good. If one does not like the buffet meal, they can order from the Ala Care menu.

Faculty: SHSS has one of the best faculty members in SNU. The student-faculty ratio is generally 15:1. Professors are helpful as well as approachable. The course is research-based, so we can expect intensive readings and in-class discussions. Audio-visual methods are also used. The final year students have to write a thesis.

Other: SNU is situated in the very interiors of Dadri. However, reaching Noida is easy. Buses are available on the weekend that provides both drop and pick up. Otherwise, one can always cab pool and reach Noida or Greater Noida in a maximum of 1.5 hours. The annual inter-fest is called Breeze is celebrated.
