Good infrastructure with average placement.
Placements: Solely depends on your hard work. Packages about 8 LPA and above were secured mostly off campus. Official placement records are not shared. Many of our seniors got into Amazon, Microsoft, etc. through off campus. On-campus recruitments do occur but mostly service-based.
Infrastructure: The location is awesome, just beside Biswa Bangla Gate. The college campus is pretty small. Does not have a proper ground. Wi-Fi is available in some limited areas. The library is quite big. Does not have its own hostels inside the campus. Labs have AC, but classrooms don't.
Faculty: Like everywhere else, some professors are very helpful, and their way of teaching is also awesome. Exams are conducted by SNU as it's a university in itself. The curriculum in CSBS is comparatively vast as compared to Standard CSE. You will have 1-2 more subjects.

Don't go to SNU without reading these points .
Placements: This is my final year (2024-2025), and I am part of the campus drive for 2025 pass-outs. I will be honest; if you have better options, go for them. As you know, SNU is part of the Techno India Group, so during placements, many colleges compete together. I remember when Nutanix came for a drive; there were students from six different colleges competing together. Mainly, you'll compete with TIU, TMSL, and Asansol and Siliguri colleges. So far, we have had Microsoft, Nutanix, TCS, Accenture, and many smaller companies. Not many students have been placed from SNU, as the competition is high. If you are skilled enough, you can get placed, as companies do come, but not big names.
Infrastructure: The course is good, but the faculty is weak. You'll have economics but not a good teacher. This results in your own loss; people can see that you have learned economics, but you haven't. I don't stay in a hostel, but I have heard that they are too strict, but the food is good. Classrooms are non-AC, with fans, while labs have AC. The library has many unnecessary books instead of important ones, and Wi-Fi is not available for students.
Faculty: We had a few excellent teachers, but also some terrible ones, who were the new ones. But over these three years, many of the talented ones have left the college, so I am not sure how good the faculty will be. You have to study on your own if you really want to learn something. The core teachers are good, but you'll have issues with the others. The course is good, but no course is truly industry-ready. An industry-ready course is a myth; you'll have to learn industry-based skills on your own. No course will teach you web development, Android, Flutter, or anything like that. Semester exams are pretty easy; you just have to maintain attendance and have some basic knowledge of the subject to score a 7+ SGPA. The passing score is 4, but it is good to maintain at least a 7.5+ CGPA. We had a few excellent teachers, but also some terrible ones, who were the new ones. Other: I chose this course because CSBS was supposed to get preference at TCS. But campus life is terrible at this college—no events, no fests, nothing. If you want to study only, go for SNU; otherwise, I can give you an honest suggestion: sit for the WBJEE, and no matter how much you score, you'll have a better choice, as it will cost less. SNU is not value for money, at least for CS.

Good infrastructure and faculty members with good placement.
Placements: This year, the placement was very good, with above 60% of students from my department placed. Most of the people received the best job offers in SDE from top companies like TCS, Microsoft, Amazon, Capgemini, Wipro, Intel, Salesforce, etc. Overall, it has been a good experience with my college placements.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is really good, with a big seminar hall and furnished classrooms with AC and fans. The labs are well maintained. The entire campus is covered with Wi-Fi facilities, and there is a big library with lots of different types of books. Washrooms are well-maintained, with water facilities available 24/7. Filters are installed on every floor.
Faculty: Highly qualified faculty members have done their Ph.D. and Masters from renowned colleges. They are very friendly and helpful with the students, while also being strict with the curriculum and syllabus to make us industry-ready. The semester exams are not that hard, and the passing percentage is 80%.

Overall is quite good but a bit tensed with the placements as this will be the first one.
Placements: Our university is a newly opened university and we are the 1st batch of the university in this stream but we can see many companies coming for seminars. Our TCS syllabus is quite good and it also opens for many job offers as told by our faculty members. Although this year PG mass communication students have got 100%placement as we know.
Infrastructure: About our department our classrooms are good. In every classroom there are projectors Wi-Fi is available in labs. Our lab are newly made with many specifications students can always access those labs. Library is filled with all courses books. About hostel if I have to say then it is a very luxurious one with both AC and non AC. Food served is also good and the location of hostel is also good. Beside our college is the Ohio hospital so till now there is no medical problems. Once in a year sports day is conducted. Otherwise basketball and cricket is played quite often.
Faculty: The faculty members are quite educated almost every one has done postgraduate and many of them have done Ph.D. also. This course curriculum is very much industry relevant and it prepares students for industry. The teaching quality is good. If anyone complains about any faculty then action is taken immediately.
Other: I choose this course as I wanted to do engineering and secondly this for this TCS attachment. Best things are that it covers every part as for example from statistics to economics. This year had our 1st fest AMESNU. It was wonderful. During that time whole year prizes were given. It has a beautiful campus. Above 9 cgpa scholarship is given.

Good faculties and infrastructure with a good placement in this year
Placements: the placement was good more than 60% placed from our department and still going on. The highest package goes till 54 lakh per annum. average package was 4 lpa. top recruiting companies like intel Capgemini TCS WIPRO Microsoft L&T etc. Top roles offered in Software Engineering Development
Infrastructure: nice room and ambience with good services. The toilets are nit and clean. The girls washrooms have also same good facilities. There are always guard outside the washrooms. There is water filter installed in the washroom lobby. Overall nice and good experience I have gained.
Faculty: the faculties are from top colleges and done their PHD and masters. They are very friendly and helpful with students. very strict with the curriculum and the syllabus to make the students industry ready. not that much difficult semester exams in this college, passing percentage 80%
