The subjects offered in the MA in Economics course at Somiaya Vidyavihar University aim to provide the student with specialised skill sets in different fields like micro, macroeconomics, Public Finance, econometrics and Environmental economics. Moreover, the subjects included in the first semester are as follows:

The CUET PG 2026 admit card is expected to be released in the fourth week of February. Only the registered candidates will be issued the admit card. 

The selection criteria for admissions to MSc courses at Somaiya Vidyavihar University is based on candidates' achieved scores in their graduation- BSc/ BE/ BTech degree. Moreover, applicants will be considered eligible for Interim Admission if they have successfully completed their semester fifth final examination with no pending KTs. The selection criteria will be based on the merit of the semester's fifth final result scores. 

To get admission into MSc courses at Somaiya Vidyavihar University, candidates are required to complete the primary eligibility criteria first, which states applicants must complete their BSc degrees from the relevant stream and study subjects related to the specialisations. Moreover, the secondary eligibility criteria contain valid scores in the last qualifying examinations as the admissions are based on merit, and evaluated on the basis of candidates' scores in their graduation.
