Step 1.1: Visit the official website of Somaiya Vidyavihar University (https://www.somaiya.edu/en/).

Step 1.2: Click on the 'Apply Now' button on the home page. Then students should fill out the pre-admission form which is available on the college admissions portal.

Step 1.3: Fill out the application form with the relevant information related to personal identity and academic qualification.

Step 1.4: Upload the required documents requested by the university.

Step 1.5: Pay the Somaiya Vidyavihar University BTech application fee i.e., INR 2,000 and submit the form.

Step 2: Appear for the Entrance Exam

Candidates must have appeared in any of the entrance exams from the Scholastic Assessment Test/ JEE-Mains/ Common University Entrance Test (CUET)/ MHT-CET/ PERA-CET. Additionally, they must have secured valid scores in the entrance examination

Step 3: Release of Merit List

The university will release the merit after evaluating the applicants' scores in their HSC and accepted entrance examinations. Further, admission will be offered based on the merit and availability of seats taken together. The candidate will be communicated via email about his/her admission status.

Step 4: Admission Confirmation

A candidate who is offered interim admission needs to pay INR 50,000 as per the stipulated admission schedule to secure the same. Payment of the first instalment is through the application form portal as per the steps mentioned in the offer letter. The payment of the balance fees is to be done through the student 'my account' portal as per the due dates displayed in the portal. The total tuition fee for the course ranges from INR 12.2 lakh to INR 24 lakh. The fee amount mentioned is sourced from the official website/sanctioning body and is subject to change. Merit-Based Scholarship: It is awarded to the meritorious students, who work hard to maintain their academic graph in inclined way.

Subject-Based Scholarship: It is based on the student family’s financial circumstances, to provide the support in their building career. Basic criteria for scholarship is mentioned below:

1. Minimum 60% in all exams of educational record.
2. Family income less than 3 Lakh
