The campus is good, and placements are decent, but the fees are a bit high.

Placements: This year, around 65% of students got placed into good companies. The rest 20 percent got placed but struggled for a good package, and the remaining struggled for even placement. The highest package offered was 17 LPA, and the average package was 6.5 LPA. Top companies included Accenture, TCS, and Wipro.

Infrastructure: KJ Somaiya has the biggest campus in Mumbai after IITB. The campus includes literally everything that you could ever think of in a college campus, from a running track to a clubhouse. The hostel facilities are above average. For the mess, students prefer the outside mess rather than the hostel mess. Sports events are conducted every six months.

Faculty: Most of the faculty members are well-qualified and give positive feedback when approached for doubts. The course curriculum is well updated to industry standards, but still somewhat follows the Mumbai University syllabus for some subjects. The difficulty of the semester exams is moderate, and if studied regularly, they are very easy to pass. The passing percentage is around 85%.

Other: I chose this course because AI and Data Science are the current future in CSE, and one thing I could say is that they could improve the fees, which are very high. If that could be lowered, it is a value-for-money college. There are events taking place for every festival, hackathons, and many events throughout the year.
