B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering - Batch of 2027

A very good, organized place to get exposed and get your life better.
Placements: In my batch, the placement training started for us and my seniors' batch. More than 70 percent of students are placed in top companies. The highest package is like 27 LPA, and the lowest package is like 4.5 LPA. Companies like Fedility Investment, Schneider Electric, KPGA, and Accenture recruit. Our seniors got internships in Fedility Investment as full-stack developers, and in some other companies, they got internships with a stipend of 40,000 per month. The students are hired for chip-level designing and front end developed and software engineering, and so many roles.
Infrastructure: We have a high-speed internet connection in our campus its like 100 mbps for all the laptops, and good spaced library with maintained books. The campus is with centralized air-conditioned system, so classrooms are comfortable for students and labs with advanced technologies and boards. So the canteen is maintained in a hygienic way, and the taste is above average and good to afford for the students.
Faculty: Almost all the faculty have completed their Ph.D., and they are well-trained for teaching, and they are maintaining a good relationship with the students. The course curriculum is very relevant to the industry-based system and very helpful in placements. The passing percentage is 50%, and it's not too hard to pass, but for placement purpose we are sick with some 9 CGPA.
Other: So, according to India, now the semiconductor industry is booming, and so the Electronics engineers are required so much for that, and we have demands in the industry, so I have joined this course. Still, we can move to software or core, whatever we want. We have so many clubs and activities on our campus, so students are engaged with the activities and all the stuff.

Worth the money you pay as the fee.
Placements: The student's placement in this college is 100%. The highest salary is 2 LPA, and the lowest salary is 4 LPA. The average salary is 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Amazon and Nvidia. They get internships in companies like Wipro and others. 70% of students will get internships. Top role offered in this course is electronic.
Infrastructure: The college has Wi-Fi enabled campus. You can use the campus Wi-Fi at any time so that it is very easier to access the internet. The canteen in this college is very hygienic and very good in taste. Our college has many medical facilities because there is a SIMS hospital before our college.
Faculty: Teachers at this college are very friendly and supportive of the students. Every faculty member has completed the Ph.D. in their domains. Teachers are very good in their teaching skills. The semester exams are not more difficult, but will be moderate. The pass percentage is 50% of total mark.

It is not worth the fee paid.
Placements: Around 90% got placed. TCS, Wipro, Infosys, and CTS are the top recruiters. Internships won't be provided by the college. The average salary package would be around 3.6 LPA. Placements are not worth the fee spent for the course but college gives a great platform for higher studies.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good but too much crowd for each course doesn't give the university feel. The hostel was too bad for the fee we are paying and also the food is not so great. Games and sports are not provided by the college.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified but they just follow the theory and have no practical knowledge. It doesn't make students industry-ready as in placements most of them are IT recruiters which are irrelevant to your core profile. It is very easy to clear exams.
Other: They should concentrate on the quality of education rather than the number of students. The best part of SRM is events, fests, connectivity, and campus surroundings.

It is a great college in all aspects.
Placements: Almost 97% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered is 48 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 4.5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 1.8 LPA. A top recruiting company visited our campus for placements is ZS Associates. A top role offered to the students is a manager. The highest salary package offered in our course is 13 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 4 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3.3 LPA. About 30-35% of the students got an internship in various companies like Cuemath, Cognizant and Focus Academy.
Infrastructure: The college has dedicated Wi-Fi router all over the campus and hostel with about 800 Mbps speed. Our department labs are fully equipped with materials. The library is very good, and you can get many numbers of books. It provides free medical treatment for students. A mess is bad.
Faculty: Teachers in our college will be helpful if you do well at studies. Almost teachers in our ECE department are PhD holders. Their teaching quality is excellent. They will make students industry-ready. The course curriculum is fantastic, and you can choose subjects on your wish.

Good atmosphere for students where learning is fun.
Placements: Almost 90 percent of the students were placed in well reputed companies and they had recieved great offers from the companies. The highest salary was 20 Lacs per annum and minimum was 2 Lacs per annum with an average of 5 Lacs per annum. KPIT was the top recruiter for my course and the top roles was network engineer. The highest package for my course was 10 Lacs per annum and minimum was 2 Lacs per annum with an average of 5 Lacs per annum.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good compared to the other colleges with state of the art buildings completely accompanied with air conditioning. It has a good library where loads of books are stored. They offer free Wi-Fi for the students. The quality of the hostel is average.
Faculty: The faculty members in our college are very friendly as they provide a huge amount of knowledge to the students so that they can develop their activities. The course curriculum is relevant and it makes the student be ready to face the society in order to take up the challenges.
Other: I had interest from my childhood so I chose this course. I believe good training must be provided. More technical events must be conducted.

Absolutely satisfied with the faculty members and good placements in 2019. Overall, a good college.
Placements: Most of the students got placed from our college. Almost 70% of the students got placed in the ongoing academic year. Many students will get placed in the upcoming months. Our college is listed on the top for the last 6 to 7 years regarding placements. The salary packages offered are also good.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is nice. Our college is totally air-conditioned, and the quality of infrastructure is very good. Labs are outstanding and are air-conditioned. The library is very big, and you can find a lot of books there. Sports facilities are good. Our college is the best in providing medical facilities.
Faculty: Faculty members are the best. They are kind-hearted and teach well. The faculty to student ratio is also less. All the teaching staff members have very good knowledge in their respective fields. Their teaching is very good, and all the faculty members are highly qualified and even surpassing the eligiblity criteria.
Other: Our campus is located in the heart of the city. CMRSL and CMBT are near to our campus.

The college has a good infrastructure with many facilities.
Placements: The placements provided on the campus are good, but sometimes they are very less. There were good placements in 2017. The college organises SAP course for meritorious students. If a student scores above 9 CGPA, then they are provided with the SAP course, and if their CGPA is above 8, then they are provided with a scholarship.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is provided on the campus. Labs and canteen on the campus are good, and all the classrooms are air-conditioned with projectors in every class. The library has different books. Hostel facility is available, but there is no Wi-Fi facility provided. The food in the hostel is not that good in taste. Otherwise, the infrastructure on the whole campus is good and sufficient.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful to students in all aspects, but some teachers have a lot of attitude. Teachers help the students every time. They use projectors and practical methods for teaching. Industrial exposure was great for us, and it starts from the 4th semester. The course curriculum was very useful.
Other: Many events are organised on the campus for students.

It is an ideal college according to me.
Placements: The placements depend upon the GPA you get. The companies asked more core-related questions compared to technical questions. It takes time for a person to decide their career whether to work in the core field or software.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is good as it depends on the person who utilises it. The laboratories have good equipment for commercial purposes. The laboratory experiments need to be improved as they do not show how practically things work outside the college.
Faculty: The staff support for students in academics is good, especially when it comes to the main papers. You can also improve your extracurricular activities. The curriculum is actually becoming stringent as the demand of technical field has become lesser considering an engineer with more knowledge about the practical world.
Other: MILAN is a fun event which is celebrated with celebrities. Rotaract club is the one I loved joining as you can take care of your own responsibility.
