I am very satisfied with teachers and campus, the placement is also very good.
Placements: 94% of students got placed from my course. The highest package is 30.5 LPA and the average is 6.5 LPA. Top companies are Amazon, Wipro, Microsoft, TCS, Infosys, and Dell. The top roles are software engineer, data analyst, system engineer, and technical support engineer.
Infrastructure: Facilities are great, and the quality of the food is good. The campus is filled with internet and Wi-Fi with high-speed, which allows students to access online resources and conduct research easily. Labs are equipped with modern computers and support for learning.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and very qualified, holding advanced degrees, they have a strong academic background, and are very qualified and experienced in teaching about all the topics. Semester exams are not tough if studied and prepared well. The pass percentage is 50%.
Other: I chose this course because I was interested in computer science engineering.

Amazing college in Chennai.
Placements: I graduated from SRM University in 2019 with a bachelor's degree in computer science. In the CSE Department, approximately 84% of students were successfully placed in my course. The highest package offered is 34 LPA and the lowest is 12 LPA. Tech companies such as Microsoft and Infosys recruit here.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for the course and hostel is good, with the latest designed and equipped classroom for interactive learning and an extensive library. Hostel facilities are also good with facilities such as high-speed Wi-Fi and mess food is also good with various foods.
Faculty: Our CSE department faculty was highly qualified and supportive of easy learning. The curriculum was up-to-date with new technology and prepared to face industry challenges. Semester exams were very challenging in the 5th and 4th semesters. The passing percent is 62%.
Other: Good.

It is a good college for students to get good placements.
Placements: Placements provided in our college are good. Around 100% of placements were provided in our college this year. Top MNCs visit our college to offer placements. The highest salary package offered is 42 LPA and the average salary package is 6 LPA.
Infrastructure: Our college is in the middle of the city. It is accessible to every major city. The hostel is average, but the food served in the mess is not good. Mess serves rice, dal, and sambar. Sometimes, chicken does not taste good. The ambiance of our college is not bad.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are highly qualified, and some are experienced in their respective fields. The course curriculum is good. It covers all the important topics which are helpful in placements. Semester exams are strictly conducted but are easy.
Other: Everything is good in our college except the mess.

Best college in the city for placements.
Placements: Placement percentage is approximately 95%. The students are placed in well-reputed companies like TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Capgemini, etc. The highest package offered was 24 LPA. AI is one of the top roles offered. 90% of them did internship in HP, Infosys.
Infrastructure: The whole campus is fully air-conditioned and neatly maintained. We have free Wi-Fi facility and we can be benefitted through that for our study purpose. Computer labs, Electrical labs, mechanical labs are there. In our canteen, they provide good and hygienic food. Sports, games and other extracurricular activities are highly encouraged by the staffs. Well maintained hostels are available in Ramapuram campus.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful and keep us encouraging to achieve more. They teach us nicely and clear our doubts without any hesitation. All the courses available here are for the benefits of the students. Job is guaranteed in this college.
Other: I chose this course since it provides good placement in top companies. The best thing in my course is the knowledge which is gained and will be useful throughout our career. If practical knowledge is taught more it would improve the course. Symposiums, white-hat hacking workshops, college day, etc. are some of the interesting events that happen here.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the faculty provided, no proper guidance to the students
Placements: 1. 45% students were placed and mostly in marketing companies. 2. Average package 2.5 Lacs per annum was offered by the marketing companies with a condition based on their performance after 6 months of working. 3. Tcs, hcl, Google, Cognizant are the top recruiters. 4. Software trainee and team management roles were offered. 5. The lowest salary is 2.5 Lacs per annum and the highest is 8 Lacs per annum was offered to our course. 6. 20% students got internship offers.
Infrastructure: 1. Labs were good and with great maintenance but Wi-Fi is not available for the students. When it comes to library, it has maximum books and the classrooms were fully air-conditioned. 2. Hostel which they provided was very bad and no hygienic food is served. On the other side medical facilities were good but it was too expensive.
Faculty: 1. Teaching was good but some of them are very irresponsible and they don't have proper knowledge about the subjects. Most of them are highly educated but they differentiate the students with local and non-local candidates. 2. Course was pretty good and relevant but when it comes to industry it may not be useful.
Other: 1. By choosing computer Science and engineering, I can get better knowledge about the technology and innovation. 2. They included unwanted subjects to the course such that it is hard to understand the subject which cannot be used it further. 3. Events and fests are great to participate and to get the certification of excellence.

It is the best college to study if you can afford it.
Placements: Around 85% of the students get placed from our college. The highest salary package offered is 20 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. The top recruiting companies were Amazon, Google, IBM, Wipro, TCS, CTS, etc. Roles offered were as full stack developer, associate engineer, etc. The highest salary package offered is 5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. Around 80% of the students get internships from our college. The college is good at placements. Even though if you are depressed in not getting placements, you will get a chance to have one because SRM brings more than 500 reputed companies a year.
Infrastructure: The college ambience is good. There are air-conditioned classrooms. A very big library with good infrastructure and modernized labs which has all the facilities are available in the college. The hostel is good with all facilities and with good infrastructure. Air-conditioned rooms are available in hostels. Here you can find good ventilation and safety. A room is shared by 3 students.
Faculty: Here you will get many subjects that you can choose on your own. Faculty members are very friendly to the students. You will not find any domination or sarcasm when compared to other colleges. They will teach according to the industry needs, and the rest depends upon the students to choose which stream he wants to go for.
Other: I chose CSE in engineering (B.Tech) because it has good things. There are interesting subjects which look easy when compared to other cources if you have an interest in computing. More practical of the courses would be better to get used to the industry needs. The college conducts many events like Milan, Rush, College Day, Tech Days for each stream.

Absolutely disappointed by the campus and campus life although campus crowd is good.
Placements: I am from the batch 2016-2020, and I will graduate in May 2020. Placements in SRM are a hassle because every single campus student from every campus will have to go to the main campus for every single process, which is quite far but well maintained. Now, placements are still going on, and almost about to end. Most of the students do get placed, i.e., about 80-90% of the students who sit in placements. The highest salary package offered was around 22 LPA, and it was offered by PayPal and MuSigma. After these, Microsoft and Amazon offered the highest salary package. The lowest salary offered for a full-time job was Rs. 30,000 (take-home salary) and, for internships, it was Rs. 12000 per month. The average salary package offered is around 5-7 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Cognizant (all the mass recruiters). We also have companies like Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Barclays, PayPal, ZS Associates, Byju's, which are hard to get into but they are really good. Overall until now, more than 500 companies have visited our campus and still counting. Top roles offered in our course were as follows by ranking GET (general engineer trainee), software developer (mostly Java), data analyst (Python based), development role (full-stack, mean stack, mern stack, frontend and backend). The highest salary package offered in our course was 27 LPA, and it was offered by Amazon, but with a bond period. The lowest salary package offered in our course was 3.3 LPA. The average salary package offered in our course was around 4.5-6 LPA. All students have to get at least one internship by 3rd year, so that makes it 100%, but almost 30% of them do get more internship if they want to others can get it too. From campus placements, there are a lot of companies which offer internships to students, so by the end, around 40% of the students who get placed are in internships. Few of my friends also got internships in companies like American Express, Bank of America, Byju's, ZS Associates and Amazon. Paypal and Volante offer internships in starting of the 4th year itself and in ending of 3rd year as well.
Infrastructure: The hostel where I lived for Vadapalani campus was not a hostel, it was an apartment building with 3 building, and each building had 3 floors each with each floor having 2 flats in it. Each flat is 2 BHK, and the number of students living in one flat is 8. They put 4 students in one hall which is not very big, then 2 students in each room and only one bathroom to use in a flat. Visit the hostel once to see if you can survive there, and the warden doesn't uses logic. There are no air-conditioned rooms. The food served is fine if you are a south Indian. The hostel is near to the campus, to a different campus situated in Ramapuram. Your campus VDP is like an hour ride away. They have buses which leave at 6 in the morning, so you either wake up at 5 am and take a bath. They do have Wi-Fi which is not very good, but manageable. Apart from that, you don't have space outside to roam. I paid around 1,10,000 for the hostel, which is around the same as the cost of living near the college in a flat with some roommates. Now let's come to college, it has a building, and that is all we get. The building is of 5 floors. The good part, you have a centralised air-conditioner in every corner, even in WC. Then each floor is for the four main branches of engineering, i.e., mechanical, electrical, computer science, and civil. There is a very normal overpriced canteen which is pretty good. There is also a library with PCs in it, and it is pretty fine, neither big nor small. There is no Wi-Fi in college for students. There is no campus, only a building and outside, it is road and parking. So there are no sports and games. However, just in front of the building is a very big hospital called SIMS, which is expensive but fine as it is under university only. So that is a good thing.
Faculty: Teacher's quality depends on your luck, there are some really good teachers but very few of them like maybe one teacher actually know their stuff in a field. So if that teacher teaches you, ensure to ask them everything you want to. Some teachers won't be using logic at all and are basically stereotype. They are strict, absolutely mandatory to wear collared shirts and shirts, trousers and jeans are the limits. Track pants and shorts are not allowed. Almost 85% of the teachers aren't knowledgeable, so make sure to use the internet for good before exams. Some teachers are gems and college doesn't value them, so they leave quickly like in a year or 2. Regarding the course curriculum, lots of changes are being made, but in some subjects, you will be taught almost a decade old things. We were taught adobe flash player last semester, which is outdated. So be careful, and you are on your own there. The good thing is this campus always has the most competitive bunch of students. Choose friends instead of making them, and a good circle of them will get you where you want. This campus has the students who are doing stuff from their childhood, and some are ready to learn practical things.
Other: I have chosen this course because I did not like any other fields at all. Despite having an assured career in the mechanical field. I have chosen this because I liked to be on the computer and doing something. I always wanted to be the lead person behind a game in the technical sense, and I still do not regret it. The best thing is you can start whenever you want, learn whatever you want to because it's widespread and connects to almost every other field and you never stop learning in this course. Practical knowledge is always better to have before going into the market. It is always better to teach students like us, to how to sell ourselves in a pool of companies based on our acquired and individual skills. There are events held almost every 2-3 months, and they are really a good way to start something because the events are conducted by senior students who want to change the college for better. So they try their best to give others their best. Extracurricular is almost nil on this campus. There are scholarships available for students to claim if they fit the criteria. Apart from that, the one good thing this college has is that for students living far away from home can avail the train journey discount from college twice a semester.

It is a good college to get a degree with good skills.
Placements: There are almost 100% placements. The highest salary package offered was 40 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 1.6 LPA. The average salary package offered was 3.4 LPA. Companies like Adobe, Microsoft, Infosys, offered placements. The senior developer was the post offered. The highest salary package offered in our course was 40 LPA. The lowest salary package offered in our course was 2.4 LPA. The average salary package offered in our course was 4.6 LPA. Almost 50% of the students got internships.
Infrastructure: Facilities provided here are fine like Wi-Fi is not working. Sometimes classrooms are small, and benches are broken. The library is not equipped with air-conditioner and many things. The food quality is not that good in the hostel. The canteen food is fine. Sports and medical facility is available all the time.
Faculty: Teachers here are helpful, and most of the teacher are having masters and many other degrees. Even they will help when you are not able to understand anything. The course is relevant and also the subjects are good, which helps to develop different types of skill set.
Other: I have chosen this course due to CSE coding and logical things. There should be less subject and more practical work. Events like Texus, hackathon are conducted here. There are almost 4000 students. There is a bus facility. The campus is located at a good place. Scholarships are available here. Extracurricular activities are always there.

As per last year statistics, you will get core branches(civil, mechanical or EC) in main KTK campus. But for CSE there are very few chances of getting the main campus. So all the best for your future.
