It is the finest college in Ghaziabad.
Placements: The college provides the best placement opportunities. Almost all students got placed with an average salary package of 3.5-4.5 LPA. The minimum salary package offered is 3 LPA, and the maximum salary package offered is 32 LPA by Amazon. Amazon, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, E&Y and ZS are the super-dream companies. TCS, Infosys, Wipro, etc., recruit most of the students.
Infrastructure: It is one of the most the finest colleges with the best infrastructure in this location. Hostel facilities are good. Badminton and lawn tennis courts are not available here. Almost everything else is available here. The swimming pool is not available. Sports like cricket, basketball, football and hockey can be played as there is a huge ground inside. Everything is good. Labs are well-maintained, and the library is also well-maintained with every useful book.
Faculty: Faculty members are the most knowledgeable, and they provide immense support. If a student pays attention, it is easy to score well in the exams. Faculty members give their best, and students can ask doubts at any time. Notes of every chapter are provided by teachers. Faculty members are always eager to help us.
Other: I have chosen this course because electronics and communication is the best course in SRM. The rest of the courses are not that good.

I like this college, and we are the future of the nation.
Placements: I am currently studying in SRM Modinagar, Ghaziabad, in the 2nd year. I am pursuing B.Tech from the ECE branch. In our college, around 80-90% of the students got placed in various companies. As ECE is an evergreen branch, students in our college can also get placed in Infosys, Wipro and in government jobs as well. Top recruiting companies are BHEL and other companies. Almost 80% of the students got an internship from our college.
Infrastructure: SRM IST Ghaziabad is the second-highest SRM college in terms of space after SRM KTR Chennai. We have proper facilities of Wi-Fi, library, modern labs and 3-4 canteens. Outside college, we have a variety of dhabas, restaurants and some good PGs for hostelers. We have a proper cricket, football and basketball ground. We also have an NSO where we can play TT, chess and carrom as well.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and supportive. They also have good and more teaching experience. Teachers regularly give us assignments and tests in order to keep us up to date. Teachers explain everything in labs before performing the experiment.
Other: Overall, I am very well satisfied with this college and would like to recommend it to others. Our college always performs well in academics and co-curricular activities.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty, good placements in 2017.
Placements: The highest package was around 7lpa, average would be around 3.60 LPA. Since we went to SRM Chennai campus for our placements so there were many big names like Ola, Samsung, E&Y and many more. I'm not sure if they still sending folks to Chennai campus for the placements.
Infrastructure: I haven't stayed in the hostel, but canteen and food is good. Classrooms were in a good condition and library is pretty big it's good for you to study and talk quietly. There are many sport activities during the academics like cricket, table tennis, volleyball etc.
Faculty: Faculty members are not much knowledgeable they are just teaching things for a long time that's why they know. Curriculum is not relevant they just make you rotting syllabus for the exams. No preparation for industry level preparations they just prepare you for the aptitude test which was also good for nothing.
Other: Good knowledge transfer is really necessary between teachers and students. Rotting a paper and going for an exam shouldn't be there. Lots of events and fest you'll find during the academics. So if you are a very enthusiastic toward these activities, then it would be really helpful for you to grow.

Placements were good although we had to fly from one city to another due to which our subjects during the last year could not be covered properly.

It has an average college life with good placements.
Placements: Placements were held only in SRM Kattankulathur main campus. Companies regularly visited in the placement period. All the core companies came in the first 2 months, later companies like TCS, CTS, Wipro and Infosys also hired more than 1000 students. After the mass placements, the recruitment went low.
Infrastructure: The quality of the infrastructure was great, but it was very small than the main campus SRM Kattankulathur, But the fee charged was the same. Classrooms, laboratory and the library were all air-conditioned. Cafeteria and other infrastructure were small. There was only one cafeteria. Laboratories were very good and had all the components to perform all the experiments.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college were very helpful with the curriculum. The study materials which provided by campus were not helpful for tests and exams, but the faculty members provided notes.
Other: Campus life here is average since the number of fests is very few.

Campus life here is good. I am dissatisfied with placements and worst management during placements.
Placements: Almost 30% of the students got placed. The salary package offered is 4 LPA. Placements were not good in that year. TCS was the mass recruiter that year, and a lot of students got placed in that company. Roles offered were associate software engineer and software engineer. Around 20-30% of the students got an internship.
Infrastructure: Classrooms and labs were good. Hostel life was good, and Wi-Fi is available in the hostel. TV is also available here, and the security was good. The playground was also available here where students can play different sports and can participate in tournaments.
Faculty: Faculty members here are not up to the mark, and they don't know how to manage students. They teach, but they don't check whether students understand or not. Lab assistants were knowledgeable and knew about the concepts. Assignments and CT tests are given where no preparations are provided. Faculty members were not knowledgeable.

There are no satisfactory placements and course curriculum.
Placements: Probably around 60%-70% of the students from our course got placed with the highest salary package of 4.2 LPA. The lowest salary package offered to them was 2.9 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 3.25 LPA. Top companies which visit here for placements are Amazon, KPIT and Torry Harris. Top roles offered were associate engineer, risk analyst, software engineer and data engineer. Our college is biased a lot during placements as students who come from Delhi are rejected even before submitting a resume.
Infrastructure: Classrooms were good here, and the Wi-Fi facility was always weak. So, you have to use your mobile internet. The hostel was pretty bad, and the food served in the mess and canteen wasn't good at all. There were very few sports and games or not available as our college never focused on it. It is always difficult if you try to participate in a tournament. For medical service, they used to provide ambulance, which is available pretty quickly.
Faculty: Teachers were good here, but the course curriculum taught to us was not useful anywhere. We had to pay Rs. 15,000 for books to the college, which was way less, but we did not even use them once. We used to buy new books which were relevant, and in the end, whatever we studied in the first 3 years was not used anywhere. We had to prepare ourselves with new knowledge when the interview session is going to end.

The college provides decent infrastructure, faculty, and placements.
Placements: A lot of companies visit the campus for placements, but they visit the main campus and not the other campuses, including NCR campus. Even the placement opportunities are more beneficial to the CS and IT students. However, students belonging to other branches also get decent opportunities. Overall placements are good here.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the campus is okay. When it comes to Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and the library, they are well designed and have all the necessary equipment. But the medical facilities and sports facilities are horrible and need a lot of improvement. Hostel rooms are decent, but the food served needs improvement.
Faculty: The course curriculum is really good and covers all the important topics and subjects related to the branch. Even the course curriculum includes value education, sports, aptitude, and personality development, which is a good thing. Faculty members are really good. Most of the faculty members are knowledgeable and friendly.

Pros and cons of being a Srmite.
Placements: Placements for my batch 2015-19 was pretty good. We got the opportunity of getting a part of dream, super dream, core companies. On an average my batch got the package between 3.5 LPA to 4.5 LPA. But for the batch 2014-2018 was not pretty good. Placements for the batch 2019 is great and pretty good.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my campus is pretty normal. The administration is quite amazing and the academic block is so. The medical facilities, library, and Wi-Fi is pretty good. Hostel rooms were good. The hostel mess is great. No issues with the infrastructure.
Faculty: The course syllabus was quite impressive and its syllabus was similar to GATE course and other competitive exams. Faculty members are quite impressive, some of the faculty members are pretty good and their knowledge and efforts made us feel great. Some of the faculty members give us exposure about industries.
Other: The event, fest, and crowd of the college are great. The fest builds management skills in ones. Being part of the fest develops the overall personality of a student.
