Satisfied but not good placement for students.

Placements: At least 40 percent of student were placed in my course. The average package of offered in my course is 3 Lacs per annum. 30 percent of students got internship from mu course at Hyundai, Mahindra. Top package offered at my course is 20,00,000 per annually.

Infrastructure: Campus is very beautiful. Facilities and infrastructure available for our course is good. Wi-Fi is available, classrooms are very well furnished. Hostel are also very good but food available at hostel in not good. Canteen are available and medical facilities.

Faculty: Teachers is very helpful, well qualified and very knowledgeable. Teaching quality of teacher's is very good. Semester exams in college is not as difficult. Pass percentage at my course is 79 percent. University doesnot makes students industry ready.

Good infrastructure and faculty.

Placements: Students got placed in IT companies. The highest package was 12 lacs per annum and the minimum was about 3 lacs per annum. Many management companies came and offered many jobs. A good amount of students got placed in it companies. TCS and Wipro are the mass recruiting companies.

Infrastructure: Institute is fully equipped with cctv camera and Wi-Fi. Classrooms are well maintained, every floor has an RO water supply and washrooms. Every floor has computer labs filled with about 100 pc. Wi-Fi is available at every floor with good speed. Library is quite large.

Faculty: Faculty is very helpful. Helps in clearing doubts. Highly qualified. For each subject there are 2-3 faculty members. Lab assistant are very cooperative they help students to learn practicals easily. They arrange extra classes for students who has doubts.

Our college is good, and I recommend this college to all.

Placements: The course helps in getting a high salary package from companies like Dell, Amazon and Harley, i.e., around 6-7 LPA.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. There is Wi-Fi in the hostels' common mess. The floor is divided into air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned rooms for students with attached bathrooms. There is a big corridor with good lights, and a warden is on the ground floor. Rooms get clean every day, and bathrooms get clean every week.

Faculty: The curriculum is good. Some subjects are not that useful, but still, they are added. The quality of teaching is good, and teachers are ready to help at any time. Faculty members are very supportive in serve or visits. They ask for maximum attendance, and they are good. The course provided is good in design auto cad, Ansys, solid work in mechanical. It is good as they remain stuck with their syllabus, which is easy to understand.

Other: Events are good, and the crowd is also good. The campus is not big, but it is good.

It has a good infrastructure but poor teachers. Placements for the mechanical branch are subpar.

Placements: The highest salary package offered for the mechanical batch is 13.43 LPA. Most of the recruiters are IT firms and E-learning. Few of them are from core mechanical companies. Some companies offering placements are Tata Consultancy Services, ZS Associates, Aakash Institute, Hero Motocorp, Capgemini, Cognizant Technology Solutions, etc. Some students got placed in the defense sector as well. The number of placement offers during 2016-2020 for the mechanical batch was 391.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is available free of cost for all students. Many labs are also available near the academic block, like automation lab, heat and mass transfer lab and manufacturing lab. Classrooms are good with air-conditioners. Lots of sports facilities are available like cricket, basketball and football, and the sports ground is large. There are two canteens, and the hostel facilities are also decent. However, sometimes the quality of food given in the mess isn't that good as it is cooked improperly.

Faculty: The curriculum is well-suited to our branch. Only a few of the faculty members of the mechanical branch are knowledgeable. Many assistant professors of our branch don't have a PhD, and the emphasis is more on rote learning than establishing a proper understanding of the concept. Some faculty members are still very knowledgeable and approachable.

A good college with ample opportunities and average placements for mechanical students.

Placements: The placements are good for other branches like CS, but when mechanical is concerned, less opportunities are available, also considering the offline campus placements. SWOT analysis is a must. Consider your strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats, and then self-assess. You have to start building your skills from the first semester itself.

Infrastructure: Labs, Wi-Fi and other facilities are good. Some of the lab technicians have more knowledge than the faculty. The best place to learn and understand the basics are labs. I suggest you spend as much time as you can in the lab and try to understand how everything works and why is it needed.

Faculty: Some of the mechanical faculty are good, and they make you feel like you are studying in IIT or NIT. They focus on improving your skills and building a foundation for industry standards. But 2-3 teachers don't care about studies. You have to stay focused.

Other: Irrespective of any branch, my only recommendation is to focus more on skills rather than marks. Don't go all-in on every society present on campus, hoping that they will help you with skill improvement. Self-assessment and self-SWOT analysis is a must.

The college lacks faculty and infrastructure, but the degree is sort of worth it.

Placements: The percentage of people getting placed from my course was very low, and the ones who got placed is 70% in the IT sector.

Infrastructure: The mess food is horrible. It would not encourage students to take up the hostel inside the campus, and I'd rather suggest looking for a flat close out of the campus to be accessible enough. The sports programs are decent but only for certain sports.

Faculty: The curriculum is relevant. The faculty members don't make you ready for the industry as the syllabus taught here is ages old, and the technology we learn about is so ancient and barely relevant. One must take up internships during vacations to get an idea of the industry.

It is a good university among private universities.

Placements: In SRM, placements are provided to students. Placement drives are conducted on the main campus, which is in Chennai. Core companies also visit here in a good number. Top recruiting companies for all institutes are almost the same, and they are TCS, Infosys and other mass recruiters.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is nice here, and there is a huge library. Wi-Fi connectivity is good on top floors, and classroom facilities are also good. There are many computer labs, and all of them are good. There is a medical facility, which you can access without any hesitation.

Faculty: Teachers here are helpful and always guide you in a proper way. You can approach them and ask doubts whenever you want.

Other: Every semester a fest is organised in SRM. A national-level cultural, technical and sports fest are organised. Apart from this, MUN also conducted in SRM. There are many clubs for students.

The teaching quality is nice.

Placements: Placement wise the college is good. Around 70% of students got placed. The highest package was 12 lac. The minimum package was 3 LPA. The average package is around 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Mahindra and TATA etc. Overall I would rate 4 for placement.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not so good but average. There are 2 hostels for girls. One is on campus and the other is on another campus. 4 hostels are there for boys and all are on campus. The quality of food is very bad. I would not suggest students for the hostel. Medical facilities are good. One ambulance is always available on the campus.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. You can ask for help from them at any time. They are also fully qualified and the quality of their teaching is very nice. Most of the faculty members are so good at teaching. They are very knowledgeable you can even ask out of the course question for your knowledge.
