B.Tech. in Electronics and Computer Engineering 

at SOET BML Munjal University, Gurgaon

To get admission in BML Munjal University, a student with 60+ percentage in 12th board is eligible. Student have to appear for BMU SAT after scoring good in this test you will get scholarship. Scholarship also provided on the basis of JEE score.

Candidates need to qualify entrance test-JEE Main, SAT, BMU SAT or CUET for BTech is 1300 points. The merit list for Computer Science and Engineering is declared on completion of admission and registration processes. Electronics and Computer Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering scholarships are offered during the admission process.

Candidates are offered seat in School of Engineering and Technology BTech based on JEE Main, CUET, SAT or BMU Aptitude Test score. A minimum of 60 percentile in JEE Main is required for BTech admission. Besides, candidates also need to pass Class 12 in relevant subjects with at least 60% aggregate can apply for School of Engineering and Technology BTech programme.

Candidates need to pass Class 12 with Physics, Mathematics, English and any one subject out of Chemistry, Biology and Technical Vocational subjects with at least 60% aggregate or equivalent to apply for School of Engineering Technology BTech. Aspirants need to hold the documents proving their eligibility for verification at the time of admission.

There are two types of hostels in our college for first year student. One is tower and other one is apartment. Basically tower is like a rooms with single occupancy, double occupancy and triple occupancy and have common washrooms areas like three or four washrooms on a floor. Another one is apartment hostel. In apartments, there is a group of five rooms in a apartments having two single occupancy, two double occupancy and one triple occupancy room with one common area and washroom areas. Fees ranges from 180k to 240k but it increase every year by 5 to 10 percent. Apartment hostel fees is 20k more than tower hostel for each categories. Meal is provided 4 times a day I. e. breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner. Different food is cooked for South Indian students. Laundry service also there. You can give 25 pairs of cloth in a weak for wash.

If someone missed their internal assessment they need to give a valid reason of his/her absence. Faculty conduct a makeup exam to evaluate the missing components and will be evaluated will little reduction in weightage. Suppose you miss a component of 20 percent then during makeup exam it would be considered as 15 percent and you lose 5 percent weightage as penalty.

SOET BML Munjal University offers direct admission and also accepts entrance exams. The institute accepts national entrance exams such as CUET, SAT, JEE Main, and others. Aspiring candidates must qualify for the eligibility criteria set by the institute for the desired course. 

School of Engineering and Technology, BML Munjal University provide B.Tech in three streams : Computer Science, Mechanical and electronics. There are every types of instrument and labs available for students which are needed during the course. In BMU, teachers are wise and experienced. Most of them are Ph.D. holders. You can choose any course of your interest in BML Munjal University. Every course has its own uniqueness and field of application. So course should be choose based on interest of individual.

Food provided by mess is very delicious. There is variety of food available to students and no meal will be repeated in a week. Separate food is prepared for South and North side students. Non veg food is not available in mess. Students are provided with 4 meals a day that is breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner. Many food stalls are available for students with reasonable prices.
