My review of this college.
Placements: Placements and job opportunities are very good in our college. Our university ensures every student attends an internship. I have found that internships were very useful and interesting too. Many companies come to our college, such as TCS, Infosys, Siemens, Ernst & Young, Amazon, Flipkart, HDFC, ICICI, etc. Many MNCs visit the campus. To sit for the selection process of these companies, every student must follow the eligibility criteria. The individual company decides the eligibility criteria, which is generally based on 10th marks, 12th marks, and the current CGPA. The average package was 5 LPA.
Infrastructure: As management students, we have the chance to do practical management through organizing events, sports, paper presentations, etc. Also, the course structure is well-designed. In MBA, they conduct separate events. Hostel rooms are simple and okay for student life. They provide you with a study environment in the hostel rooms. Wardens are very responsive to any issues like electricity, water, disturbances, and other concerns. The bathrooms are cleaned twice a day. You will get Wi-Fi facility with time restrictions, and also, there is a lift facility, which almost never runs properly.
Faculty: Faculty are good, and everyone is a Ph.D. holder. Their teaching is very good, and we can interact with the lecturers at any time we want. There is no fear when we ask any doubt; they are free with students and explain clearly. They have really high standards and try very hard to help us in many ways. They provide clarity about subjects through slides, videos, etc. They are really very experienced. The examination structure was good compared to other colleges, as we had a semester system followed.

My review of this college.
Placements: Placement and job opportunities are really great at SRM University. A majority of students nowadays get enrolled based on the placement records. SRM University made a placement record in history in 2015. 80% of students got placed within a couple of months of the start of the placement season, and another 15% of students got placed by the end of placements in companies like TCS, Infosys, etc. For the operation field, there are companies like JBL, Maeskr, etc. For the finance field, JP Morgan, CUB, South Indian Bank, ICICI Bank, etc., came for campus recruitment. The highest package offered is 15 LPA.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are good. It provides the best meal. Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian students can enjoy their meals. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are provided to students. I personally like the quantity and quality of food they provide to students, as it is amazing. There is 24 hours of water.
Faculty: Faculty members of my college are well-trained. They are really helpful to the students in all parts of the side. They make more initial steps to improve subject knowledge for students. Faculty members make students learn more through project work, which makes them gain knowledge. There are 2 mid-semester exams and one main exam. The total marks are based on the internals and external examination. Internals comprise 50 marks, which include marks scored for mid-term assessment, class participation, surprise tests, and attendance. The course curriculum is good. For management students, there is a chance to do practical management through organizing events, sports, paper presentations, etc. We have 4 exams in 1 semester 1, 2, and 3, which are internal exams, and the 4th is the final university exam.

Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) - Batch of 2025

3Placements4Infrastructure3Faculty2Crowd & Campus Life3Value for Money
In short, the college is okay if you want to study by yourself.
Placements: In BCA, only 10-20% of students get placement, while in B.Tech, 40-50% of students get placement. In campus placements, the highest package was 50 LPA in the US from the biomedical engineering department, and the lowest package is around 2.5 to 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are IBM, Infosys, TCS, Wipro, etc. 20-30% of BCA students get internships through the college. Top roles are junior engineer, software tester, etc.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi connectivity is bad; in fact, most of the classrooms are out of reach from the Wi-Fi range. Classrooms are decent and comfortable, and the library is enough for your book needs. Hostels are good but too expensive, even going up to 3 LPA per year, and food is also decent. For medical facilities, there is a hospital on the college campus. Sports and games are also promoted; there are several grounds and courts on the college campus.
Faculty: Some teachers are supportive; otherwise, most of them are egoistic. The teaching quality is below average. Teachers are qualified, but they are full of ego and aggression towards students. The course is not in sequential order. Semester exams are not so hard, but mid-semester exams can be difficult.
Other: I want to achieve some coding knowledge but don't know that BCA is only for theory knowledge. The best thing is that it prepares students for corporate life. There should be more practical courses rather than theory, and it should start from basics. There are several events like sports events, ethnic day, Bollywood day, etc. Fests are also organized once a year. Scholarships are provided to students based on their 12th marks or scholarship exams.

My Review about this college.
Placements: Placement is extremely good, and the experience is fantabulous. We have a chance of attending multiple campus interviews. If one gets selected in a company they are not supposed to attend the next company but we have been given multiple opportunities to attend different companies. An internship involves exposure to the corporate world. College provides a 2-3 months internship that is conducted by various companies that recruit through campus placement drives. The minimum package offered is 4 LPA. Companies like Deloitte, Amazon, E&Y, NSE, ICICI, HDFC, BNY Mellon, etc., visit for recruitment.
Infrastructure: Hostels are awesome with limited restrictions. North Indian and South Indian menus are available, and students can opt anything based upon their wishes. Non-veg is available 4 times a week. AC and non-AC rooms are available. Housekeeping is done daily.
Faculty: Faculty members of the college are very well-experienced. Students are given assignments on a regular basis for which they are required to collect material and a write-up within the specified time duration for submitting it to the concerned faculty. It consists of two types of exams followed by labs if we have any. First phase of examination is an internal phase where almost 70% of marks are carried out for external marks. The external exams are the phase two exams which are conducted at the end of every semester. When it comes to course curriculum, it is evenly divided into theory and practical sessions. For theory-related papers, the practical session will be a case discussion which is an important part of curriculum. The curriculum is so advanced that research work can be done in any part of the electives.

My review of this college.
Placements: Placement opportunities are best at university. Companies like Oracle, TCS, IndusInd Bank, IDBI, Tesco, Ford, Sonata, Essar, Reliance Industries, Britannia, and Godrej come to campus for recruitment. Average package offer was 4 LPA, moving on to highest package last time around 27 LPA. Our college provides a wide range of internships only to students who are eligible on certain criteria. Remaining can opt for different internship programs outside the college contacts. It also depends upon the students having skills and qualifications required by companies to fulfill their demands as well.
Infrastructure: Hostel is on a sharing basis. Some have a room of 3 beds sharing, and some are 4-bed sharing types. Hostels are average in terms of infrastructure and accommodation. Buildings are five-storeyed. Cleanliness is maintained and is cleaned by helpers every day. Mess food provided was also hygienic and good.
Faculty: Faculty of college, especially teaching staff are very helpful except for some HODs that barely cooperative with students. Most faculty do their 100% best to help students out if they have any sort of issue. All faculty members have their personal cabins, and you can easily clear your doubts after class without any disturbance. Exams were a semester system followed, where MBA covers 4 semesters and every semester consists of 60 marks, and 2 internal exams take place, which are of 20 marks each. There is a CGPA system followed. Course curriculum is mostly theoretical, and very little practical or hands-on experience is provided. Exams are quite interesting and relevant, but you will only see a few changes in questions that appeared in previous years. Every year, it gets updated according to industry demands.

B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2025

If the course over the college is your priority, then this is the place for you.
Placements: At least 90% of students get placed; however, the placement cell is a little uncooperative, and the companies that come are subpar. The highest package is around 10-12 LPA, and the average package is about 4-5 LPA. Top recruiters include Bosch, TCS, Accenture, and many startups. Top roles offered are SDE, Front-End Developer, Data Engineer, and Data Analyst.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, and the facilities offered include the library, Wi-Fi, and labs. There are special labs as well that have different types of systems, e.g., Lenovo ThinkPad Lab, which has i7 and i9 systems. Wi-Fi is available across the campus. Classrooms are a little crowded, and the stage area is missing; however, there are projectors and AC, so overall, classrooms are average. Hostel facilities are average, and food quality is average since the food is edible and served four times throughout the day. There is a lack of entertainment and recreational activity areas in the hostel. We do have food joints like Bunny's Kitchen and Cafe Riana, as well as a stationery shop in the hostel. Sports facilities are available: football ground, cricket pitch, basketball court, table tennis, and carrom. There is also a hospital on campus owned by the university, which has nominal fees for students.
Faculty: The faculty is average, with some members being really good. Most faculty members are highly qualified and offer good guidance. Teaching quality is good; however, they rely on traditional methods like dictating and using PPTs, which is one downside. The course curriculum is relevant and prepares students for industry standards; however, most of the effort needs to be done by the students. Exams are fairly moderate in difficulty and are conducted as per the schedule. We have two mid-sem exams and one end-semester exam. The pass percentage is 50% in both exams and attendance criteria.
Other: I chose this course due to the specialization offered: AI and Data Science, which is industry-relevant and an upcoming field. They also offer partnerships with companies like IBM and have IBM faculty as well. The course could be more intuitive and hands-on, in my opinion. We have a lot of activities on campus, including events like PRISMA, which is the college's fest. We also have sports events like SAMAVESH, a cross-university event. Apart from this, there are societies like music, dance, and literature that organize events very frequently.
