SRM University Sonepat offers BTech in Computer Science and Engineering lastin for four years. The BTech CSE is further available in sub-specialisations. Find below the seat bifurcation for the academic year 2025:

• BTech in Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Data Science) - 180
• BTech in Computer Science and Engineering (Block Chain and Internet of Things) in Association with IBM - 60
• BTech in Computer Science and Engineering (Cloud Engineering and DevOps Automation) in association with Xebia - 60

The BTech placement report has not been released as of yet. According to SRM University brochure 2025, the overall placements recorded this are given: 

SRM University Sonepat Admission to its BTech programme is strictly based on the entrance exams. SRMJEE is a national-level engineering entrance exam for admission to BTech courses offered at SRMIST campuses. SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination (SRMJEEE) will be held in 2 phases and in remorse online proctored mode. Also the University accepts National level exam JEE Mains for admission to its BTech Programme. So candidates are required to have a valid scores of the above mentioned exams. Admission without JEE is not possible as per the University's admission guidelines.

The University has a good placement record. During placements 2025, over 2,024 placements were offered. The number of companies that visited the campus was above 925. The overall highets package recorded was INR 50 LPA. In addition, 1,400 paid internships were offered.

The median package for UG and PG Engineering courses was the same during SRM University Sonepat placements 2024. The amount stood at INR 5.50 LPA. The median package for MBA batch 2024 was INR 5.50 LPA. In addition, the median package for UG and PG Law courses was the same in 2024, i.e. INR 3.90 LPA.

SRM University Sonepat admission dates are not out for the BSc course. Admission portal for the BSc course is out now so the admission dates will be out soon. As per the previous year date, the BSc class was commenced in the July. 

Yes, candidates can get admission to the BSc course at SRM University with a 50% aggregate in the Class 12 exam. For BSc programme admission candidates must have Class 12 with 45% aggregate and 40% aggregate for SC/ST students. Students must have studied equivalent subjects to the course specialisations. The subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Agriculture, etc. For the selection process, students were shortlisted based on the last qualifying exam.
