B.Tech. in Biomedical Engineering - Batch of 2022

Do not take admission without checking the syllabus.
Placements: In our batch, there were not many students 10-15 students only with no exposure to the internships not even any industrial visits. Never seen a company related to biomedical engineering in our college. Yes, one of our seniors got placed in BYJU's.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure was very cool, big buildings, greenery everywhere, fully air-conditioned classes, smart classes, a big library, Wi-Fi (only educational access) and a clean hygienic washroom. Overall, the infrastructure was good. The hostel was good too except for the fee which was quite high. It was worth paying because they had given us a 3 bhk flat for 6 guys and rooms were clean and fresh. The mess was good and clean and they gave us every food item ever existed (except the taste). And yes they have an ambulance 24*7 for service. It took us to the College hospital which was free for students. We had grounds outside for games like volleyball, football cricket etc. One more thing this college is from south India and right in the middle of north India met a lot of people from all over India. Especially guys from South India Tamil Nadu, Andhra, Kerala everyone was soo cool and I am grateful for this.
Faculty: I am not giving this any good ratings because the only mistake I made here is not seeing the syllabus before taking admission and realized it in the 3rd sem that they were teaching us biotechnology. All the teachers including the head of the department were from a biotechnology backgrounds. Few came in the middle of the semester from core BME and left in the middle. After a few sem when we spent a year on they introduced some non-credit subjects of BME with no knowledgeable faculty. Overall the teaching quality was good if you want to study biotechnology. Do check the syllabus of all seems before taking admission.
