Tamil Nadu Agricultural University offers multiple 4 year courses under the B.Tech discipline. The eligibility criteria for admission to all the undergraduate and postgraduate programme is different at TNAU. As per the basic eligibility criteria for admission to UG programmes, the candidates must have qualified class 12 or equivalent exam with a minimum of fifty percent aggregate. While for admission to PG programmes candidates must have completed graduation with a minimum of fifty percent aggregate in the relevant discipline.

- Applicants who have studied in Regular, Full time and Formal Education are eligible to apply
- If you are a native of Tamil Nadu, then you have to apply for the counselling on the official website of TNAU, for which the link will be activated after the board exam results. If you are from other states, then you have to write an entrance examination conducted by ICAR, and for that entrance you have to apply through ICAR website.
- The admission will be on the basis of the performance in the qualifying examination (10+2).
