The Neotia University BTech Admission 2025: How to Apply?
Neotia University admission for the BTech programme is a multi-step process. It starts with the online application process. After the application process, the university shortlists applicants on the basis of eligibility and selection criteria. The last step is document verification and fee payment. The detailed process of Neotia University admission for BTech course is given below:
1: Application Process
The first step is to visit the university's official website at www.tnu.in to complete the Neotia University BTech application process. New users must register before applying. After the registration process is completed successfully, an email with a link to the applicants' dashboard is automatically sent to the registered email ID along with login & password details. Applicants must log in to their Dashboard, fill the Application Form for their desired specialisation, upload the required documents and submit a non-refundable application fee of INR 300.
2: Provisional Admission
Once the application form is submitted successfully, a unique 'Application Number' is generated for each applicant. Next step is to submit INR 20,000 for 'Provisional Admission'. Part-payment for the 'Provisional Admission fee' is not accepted. The fee must be paid using online payment modes (NEFT, UPI, Debit Card, Credit Card, etc.) as no cash transaction is allowed during the admission procedure. They must also share a screenshot of the “Transaction ID” with the respective admission counsellor and the designated person in the Accounts Department through an e-mail on the given email ID.
3: Final Admission
BTech admission at Neotia University is conducted on the basis of applicants' performance in the last qualifying exam, eligibility, and seat availability. The last qualifying exam for BTech (regular/lateral entry) admission is the Class 12/Diploma (Engineering) examination. For BTech in Marine Engineering, aspirants must have a valid rank in IMU CET. Lateral Entry candidates may also have to appear for a Personal Interview with the Vice Chancellor/Competent Authority.
Step 4: Admission Confirmation & Fee Payment
The university issues 'Offer Letters' to selected candidates through e-mail/Dashboard. Such candidates must log in to their Dashboard to fill the 'Online Admission Form', upload all the required documents and submit the remaining amount of Neotia University fee for the first semester. The Neotia University BTech fee for the first semester includes a one-time fee of INR 29,000 (INR 82,000 in the case of BTech in Marine Engineering).
