Yes, TNU offers a B.Tech Lateral Entry programme in seven specialisations of Electrical Engineering, Robotics & Automation, Computer Science & Engineering, and Marine Engineering. Apart from this, The Neotia University also offers a regular Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) programme of four-year duration. It is a full-time programme offered in six specialisations, including four specialisations Computer Science & Engineering.

The placement cell of Neotia university is having an average track record in terms of student intake to placement ratio . According to the 2023 NIRF report of TNU, the median package offered to B. Tech students in 2022 was Rs 4,60,000 per annum. Whereas, the median package in 2022 was Rs 3,00,000 . No, CUET is not compulsory. Admission is offered on the basis of score on the TNU Aptitude Test conducted by the university followed by counseling. Choice Based Credit System is followed for the selection of candidates for various courses, where merit of the last qualifying examination is considered.

The Neotia University BTech admission is merit-based for most specialisations. Admission is granted to applicants who fulfil the course-specific eligibility criteria, based on their performance in the last qualifying exam. The last qualifying exam for regular BTech admission is Class 12/equivalent examination. For lateral entry courses, the last qualifying exam is a Diploma (relevant stream of Engineering) examination.
