The Neotia University-Marine College.

Placements: In 2022, placements were not very good. Placements are good this year. The salary packages are very high. Our seniors got a chance in many good companies like TCS, Infosys, etc. Our college is trying to sign up with AWS.

Infrastructure: Hostels are not good enough. The food is not good.

Faculty: All faculty members are not good, but some of them have great knowledge. The curriculum is good. Exams are sometimes good for me, but it gets bad. HODs of the CSE department are good in many cases. They help to get internships. I'm in the 3rd year. The course curriculum has changed for our juniors. This is getting better for us. Many new courses are added. Our faculty members give some global certification courses.

Take admission to any college carefully, not only reading reviews but also visiting the college.

Placements: Here, placement is not so good but those students who maintain good CGPA become placed some companies like Johnson control, TCS, AILABS, etc. 55% of students got placed, with the rest going for higher studies or starting their own business. Here, internships are good but not so suitable. The company where student complete their internship are AILABS, YBI Foundation, etc.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is better than at other private colleges. Hostels have a full Wi-Fi connection. The lab is also Ethernet-connected. The library is full of books and fully AC. The food quality is good and tasty. Veg and non-veg are all allowed. Two sports grounds are present. Indoor and outdoor games are all played. Indoor games are played in a multipurpose room.

Faculty: Faculty are well educated but communication between students and teachers could be better in this recent situation. The curriculum is designed by the UGC and GATE syllabuses. There are basically two internal exams and one end-of-semester exam. Exams are not so difficult but you need proper study to pass. Here, the pass percentage is almost 95%.

Other: Because of my passion in this sector to grow up with and update with the new upcoming technology, I chose this profession. College organizes many events according to your academic calendar, so events depend on the curriculum.

Satisfied with the teacher's performance and dissatisfied with the low placement rate.

Placements: It is below average. Here, the percentage of placement of the students is 68% and 12% of the students go to higher studies. Most of the students got placed in AI LABS, TCS, Johnson Control, IBM, etc. The highest package offered is INR 10 lpa, and the average package is INR 4 lpa. Most of the students worked as software engineers. Most students prefer internships at AI LABS.

Infrastructure: The hostel life is so enjoyable at this college. The campus is too green, with many different kinds of trees and a fully cleaned campus. The hostel is also clean; there are three large play grounds and two multipurpose halls where indoor games are played. All hostel rooms are fully Wi-Fi available. There is also a big library on the college campus. Two canteens and a medical room are present for emergencies. The hostel price is so low that anyone can afford it.

Faculty: The most beautiful part of this college is the student-friendly professor. All teachers are of high quality and have Ph.D. qualifications. Their teaching quality is also good. They put us in every class for placement and placement-related curriculum. They help us make many kinds of projects. The college conducts two minor tests: one viva and one end-of-semester exam. The end-of-semester exam is moderate but all of it comes from class notes so most students got a pass.

Other: I chose the college mainly for the CSE cyber security stream. Here, that course is famous. In this college, every year we conduct one festival and one freshmen event. Test all campuses and make them crowded. There are also many scholarship programs. You can receive up to 100% tuition reimbursement, which feels like a free scholarship.

Really good infrastructure.

Placements: Not so much extraordinary in placement but quite good, some of my seniors got their job on TCS, Wipro, byjus and so many on and with a great salary. You can got job with the lowest package of 5 Lacs and the highest package 20 Lacs. It will fulfill your dream.

Infrastructure: In my department, there is quite good arrangement of facilities like modern labs with computers, Wi-Fi, AC, and library with available books, sport, game. In hostel it is very comfortable with hygiene and safety. The foods are also quite good.

Faculty: Faculty are always helpful and friendly. All of them are much knowledgeable and qualified in their field. For exam, you have to really do hard work to score good because it is not going to give free marks but not difficult to have the credit if you have good attendance.

Other: It is a very good experience which I am enjoying till today and the university will take the duty to prepare you for the industry material and eligible for job. Here have so much club for your extracurricular activities.

Campus is very hygienic and peaceful.

Placements: The university campus is beautiful and lush, covering approximately 52 acres. Placement is not good at all. There is an internship opportunity. The study system and teacher-student ratio are good. Professors are highly qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching methods are unique.

Infrastructure: The Neotia University is situated at Diamond Harbour Road. It has hostel facilities for students. The university's infrastructure is good and stylish. In this course, classrooms are good and labs are present. The library is fully stocked with supporting books. There is a canteen and a big playground.

Faculty: In computer science engineering, there are eight semesters because it is a four-year professional course. Exams are not tough at all. Teachers teach students very carefully. There are extracurriculars like bootcamp, etc. Students are eligible for placement after the sixth semester.

Other: Computer science engineers are the backbone of development. They develop everything, so I chose this course. The college organises fest every year. There is a merit scholarship opportunity, and you also get the Swami Vivekananda scholarship.

This college gives best placements for students. Really good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: 50% students were placed last year. Average package is 2.42 Lacs and the highest package is 8 Lacs. Amazon Flipkart are the top recruiters. 80% students got internship from this course in Flipkart and Amazon. All the students are getting internship.

Infrastructure: All the facilities are available but hostel fees is not good. The rules are very strict. This college is anti-ragging and the warden is very strict. Wi-Fi is present in the hostel. Medical facilities are good. Many sports items are available.

Faculty: Semester exams are not much difficult. Pass percentage is 40%. Three tests are taken in a semester. Teaching staff takes the exams very strictly. All the teachers are very helpful and they have done their PhDs. The teachers make students industry ready.

Review of The Neotia University.

Placements: Students of the 3rd and above semester are eligible for placements. There is 65% availability of getting placements. Many companies like Tata, Infosys, etc., come here to offer jobs and salary packages. I am also trying for placements. Students also get off-campus jobs because of the good name of the university.

Infrastructure: Fan, light, Wi-Fi, bed, mosquito net, mattress, laundry availability and sweeper for every hosteler are available. Still, a few rooms are too small but not all rooms. They provide 2 times fish, 2 times chicken and 4 times egg in a week, but vegetables are not available as required. Food quality should be improved. For getting a hostel during admission, we have to mention. Hostel rooms are enough, and till now, nobody faced problems getting a hostel. Even a boys' hostel is enlisted as west Bengal's 4th largest hostel. I am a hosteler, but I am not staying in PG or a rented room. Still, PGs are available here.

Faculty: Faculty members are very good. There are 30 students and 17 faculty members in our department. Exams are very easy to pass if you are concerned very well about the stream.

Other: I have chosen this course because it is a very different course, and it has a great market value.
