Yes, TNU offers a B.Tech Lateral Entry programme in seven specialisations of Electrical Engineering, Robotics & Automation, Computer Science & Engineering, and Marine Engineering. Apart from this, The Neotia University also offers a regular Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) programme of four-year duration. It is a full-time programme offered in six specialisations, including four specialisations Computer Science & Engineering.

The placement cell of Neotia university is having an average track record in terms of student intake to placement ratio . According to the 2023 NIRF report of TNU, the median package offered to B. Tech students in 2022 was Rs 4,60,000 per annum. Whereas, the median package in 2022 was Rs 3,00,000 . The highest package was around 9LPA for the B.Tech programme and the average package stood around 5 LPA . CSE being the most popular branch of the university has a good placement scenario as compared to other branches . 

No, CUET is not compulsory. Admission is offered on the basis of score on the TNU Aptitude Test conducted by the university followed by counseling. The Neotia university accepts applications in an online mode. Choice Based Credit System is followed for the selection of candidates for various courses, where merit of the last qualifying examination is considered.
