As per the Tata Institute of Social Sciences Mumbai's admission guidelines admission to its bachelor's programme for the academic year 2024-25 will be through CUET (UG)-2024 conducted by NTA. Candidates must have a valid eligibility criteria for its BA course, before applying for the CUET exam. Hence, admission to TISS Mumbai BA course without CUET is not applicable.
TISS Mumbai accepts CUET exam scores for admission to its BA course. Common University Entrance Test also known as CUET UG is a national level entrance exam conducted by NTA for admission to UG courses offered by participating institutes.
TISS Mumbai BA course is offered as a Bachelor of Arts in Social Science (BASS). The UG-level programme lasts for four years and is presented in a full-time mode. BA admission is based on the CUET exam followed by a personal interview. The institute usually conducts its entrance exam TISSNET for admission. However, the exam has been canceled for the academic year 2024. However, before applying candidates must make sure to qualify for the BA eligibility criteria, as follows:

TISS Mumbai offers BSc in only one specialisations, i.e., Analytics and Sustainability Studies. TISS Mumbai BSc is available in Analytics and Sustainability Studies. The UG-level programme is structured as per the New Education Policy (NEP) 2020 with multiple exit options and transdisciplinary. BSc curriculum covers major subjects such as Social Sciences and Science, Technology, and Mathematical (STEM) disciplines, Fundamentals in Environmental Studies (STEM), etc.
