Good environment in the Campus.

Placements: The overall quality of the camps is commendable. The maximum salary package offered is 10.5 lacs per annum. Adani and Reliance are the leading companies in terms of recruitment. Nearly 80% of the students secure placements annually, and the salary packages are also attractive. Additionally, a majority of students are provided with internship opportunities.

Infrastructure: Our facilities are well-equipped, offering amenities such as Wi-Fi and labs. The labs and equipment are of good quality. While the hostel facilities are satisfactory, the food served could be improved. Wi-Fi is available in both classrooms and labs. The infrastructure is also commendable. Although the hostel facilities are good, there is room for improvement in the quality of the food provided.

Faculty: Teachers are really good. Most of the teachers are highly qualified and have good teaching experience. Exams are tough, but overall, it is a nice environment. Teachers really help the students, and the syllabus they teach also helps at the industrial level.

Our college has a really good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Almost 93% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered here is about 6 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is about 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are Reliance industry and L&T. About 95% of the students get internships from our course. In our course, management position in production is the top role offered.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was really good, and the Wi-Fi facility is also available. The library is awesome, and food courts are also available. There are also cricket ground, basketball court, tennis court, etc., in our college.

Faculty: All faculty members here are very helpful and are almost PhD holders. In every semester, every subject is taught and completed really well, and the content of the study is also well. All the doubts of the students are cleared really well. Faculty members of this college are very friendly with students.

Other: Many fests are organised in our college like tech fest, Garba celebration, freshers party, farewell party, etc.

I am a bit dissatisfied with placements for non-IT or computer courses.

Placements: I can't say about the placements this year due to this outbreak of viral infection, but a limited number of students get placed from the mechanical branch. Top recruiting companies are IBM, TCS, Kataria Motors and few such other companies. However, recruitment may vary every year. Everyone gets an internship in reputed companies like L&T, Hindalco, etc.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is excellent with labs and workshops for every course. There are clean hostels for both boys and girls with a continuous water supply and water purifying systems at the hostel and in college buildings as well. Food available in the mess is average, and canteen remains open during working days. There is a well-maintained ground for cricket and football, and facilities are also available for a lot of other sports.

Faculty: Teachers here are qualified, helpful and knowledgeable as well. Overall, the teaching quality is good. Teaching staff members in the workshop are highly experienced, and they teach in-depth knowledge of the course. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students ready to compete in the industry.

Other: I have chosen this college because the mechanical course in UTU involves practical imparting of knowledge with the help of lectures as well as physical practice in workshops and also industrial visits. I wish the college to provide a deeper approach in the lectures which would be appreciated. A lot of technical, non-technical and sports events and fests take place during an academic year.

It is the best University, in my opinion.

Placements: I am a mechanical engineering course. Few students from our course got placed, and huge companies do not visit our campus to hire students. The highest salary package offered until now is 6 LPA. Students who scored 75% in academics got an internship at our college.

Infrastructure: In our department, there is a separate Wi-Fi facility in every class. Every classroom is equipped with projectors for study purpose. In the hostel, the facilities are good enough. Food served in the mess is not good or hygienic because it is very bad in taste. Sports facilities are available, and every equipment is provided by the college.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is good, and all the teachers teach the concept easily. They teach in a very good manner. By understanding all the concept clearly makes the base knowledge strong, so it makes the students industry-ready.

Other: I have chosen this course because I have a keen interest in machines. I wish the college should provide more practical knowledge than theoretical knowledge in our course. Many events are organised at our college, which is the best time in college for enjoying. The campus surrounding, and everything is just beautiful.

Review of UTU - Uka Tarsadia University.

Placements: The mechanical branch still does not get 100% placements as computer science and IT branches. Still, the placements are increasing every year with college trying to have for more tie-ups. The average salary package offered is between 2.5-3.5 LPA. You can find some of the reputed companies like L&T, Mitsubishi, Wipro and TCS visiting the campus. Overall, the college has a good placement rate.

Infrastructure: The best part of this college is its infrastructure. It has the biggest library in Gujarat. Every class has a separate Wi-Fi facility, and every bench has a charging port. The campus is huge, and you may take 2-3 days to get familiar with it. You can hang out at multiple places. There are plenty of restaurants, shops and eateries. Quality of food is awesome.

Faculty: Some of the faculty members are highly experienced, and some are newcomers. They are extremely helpful. If you maintain a good relationship with the faculty, then you will be in the good books of them. Teaching style varies with every teacher. Some are fun loving, and some are straight to the topic. The student-faculty ratio is 40:1.

Other: Every year, the college organises various cultural and technical fests. It is a busy college, and you can enjoy any time. There are many places to hangout. It has an indoor gym, indoor games section and outdoor games with a huge cricket ground.
