Review of University of Calicut.
Placements: Our college currently doesn't have a placement cell but MBA college which is started this year will have one for sure. Our college has created a group some teachers and senior students to start a placement cell on our campus, hope that it will start soon.
Faculty: The faculty members in our college were more friendly and had a great helping mentality. We had the freedom to clear our doubts at any time. Faculty members in our college are recruited through many interviews and mock tests. A syllabus is derived from the curriculum. It is about that list of topics to be taught and learned for a specific period or program, while the scheme of work is drawn from the syllabus and broken into pieces to be taken on a termly basis. The lesson plan is a further breakdown of work to be done. The course curriculum was very interesting to study. We had accountancy, law, taxation, and IT as our main subjects. In accountancy, we have financial accounting, corporate accounting, and cost accounting. Faculty: The student ratio is around 380:36. All the faculty members have a Ph.D. also most are professors. Term exams are conducted twice every semester and it requires really hard work to pass.
Other: I want to go for research in physics that's why I chose this course.
