Calicut University BSc Curriculum 2025
Calicut University BSc Curriculum is divided into six semesters. Subjects are usually divided intio Discipline-Specific Core (DSC) subjects and Discipline-Specific Electives (DSE) subjects. In the initial semesters, students are taught fundamental subjects.
Students also gain hands on experience as part of practical component of the course. Both theory exam and Internal Assessment holds weightage in Semester Grade Point Average (SGPA). Other than this, Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) is calculated at the end of the course. Basically, SGPA calculates your performance in one semester whereas CGPA calculates overall performance during the course.
