    University of Calicut is a good university. Calicut University, also known as The University of Calicut, is a state-private university that was established in 1968 in Calicut. Calicut University has been ranked 69 under the University category by the NIRF in 2022. It is recognised by the UGC and is approved by the AICTE. It is accredited with an "A" Grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council. Admissions are open for various courses for 2023 and the accepted entrance exams are KEAM, CMAT, CUCAT, and others. Candidates must go through the KEAM 2023 result, KEAM 2023 question paper, and KEAM 2023 syllabus before giving the exam. Talking about the placements, according to the NIRF report 2023, a total of 151 out of 824 UG and PG students were placed during University of Calicut placements 2022. The median package offered to UG (3-year) and PG (1-year) students was INR 2.64 LPA and INR 3.96 LPA during placements 2022.

    The modes of Calicut University courses admission are online and offline. Calicut University offers UG, PG Diploma and doctoral courses, under 35 different departments divided into nine schools, for different streams, such as Engineering, Science, Law, Commerce and Management, among others. In addition to the regular courses, the university also has a School for Distance Education, Calicut University offering UG and PG courses. Calicut University admission for the majority of its UG and PG courses will be conducted through the Centralised Admission Process (CAP). CAP offers the facility for online submission of applications to various colleges and courses under Calicut University. Admission is open for most of the courses.     Most of the students pursued an M.A. in Arabic course.
    Placements: Our university provided excellent placement opportunities with respected firms such as Jamia Millia Islamia, Concentrix, and Toshiba. Approximately 77 percent of students were placed in good positions, with the remainder in medium positions. Vocational training was accessible to all university students. Literature, intelligence analysis, and other careers were available. 7 LPA was the compensation package.
    Infrastructure: The infrastructure was also excellent. Because of the time frame, there were numerous options. When fieldwork was not possible, hotels offered comfortable lodgings with adequate maintenance facilities. Even if there was an electrical problem in the flat, they resolved it on the same day. Cleanliness was strongly maintained on campus and in the dormitories.
    Faculty: All of our university faculty members held masters and doctoral degrees from IITs or prestigious overseas universities. Teaching was really nice, and teachers were extremely helpful. The course curriculum was very relevant and prepared students for jobs. Semester exams were too simple to pass, with a 96 percent success rate.

    It's the best college for the M.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication course.
    Placements: 93 percent of students in my course got good packages. This year, the highest package offered is 12 LPA, and the average package offered is 8 LPA. Some of the biggest recruitment agencies that visit our campus are Hindustan Times (HT Media), Indian Express, The Hindu, etc. 90 percent of students receive internships. Top positions available include senior content editor, broadcast news producer, etc.
    Infrastructure: The college has a good infrastructure. The motel office is mediocre. Wi-Fi is available all across the campus. There is a library for studying at night, and classrooms are mediocre. The mess meal is mediocre. The canteen food is excellent. Over the course of a month, games and sports are held.
    Faculty: Instructors at our college are friendly, knowledgeable, and skilled in both theoretical and practical subjects. The quality of instruction is good. The course curriculum is suitable and helps pupils become ready for the workforce because the lecturers are very much experts. Semesters are not too difficult. Nearly 60 percent of students pass exams.

    It's the best college for M.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication course.
    Placements: College offered a better atmosphere for students, the placement rate was 93%, with an average package of 9 LPA. The college had a good TPO and a large number of companies that had hired many of its pupils. Companies such as The Times of India Group, NDTV, and India Today Group organised tours and transported students from college. The top positions available included Director of Communications, Senior Content Editor, and so on.
    Infrastructure: Our college provided the best amenities. The library was our campus's most prominent feature, and we offered a variety of amenities such as Wi-Fi, well-designed labs, and digital classrooms. The hostel had fantastic amenities, including Wi-Fi and delicious meals. Medical facilities were also offered.
    Faculty: Faculty members were encouraging, and students can develop positive relationships with their teachers. The curriculum kept pupils occupied, and exciting events occurred every week. It could be any event or competition. Students who maintain contact with their teachers tend to perform well on exams. The pass rate was more than 86%.

    Overall best college for M.A. in English course.
    Placements: 82 percent of the students who participated were placed. The highest package offered was 6 LPA, the median was 4 LPA, and the lowest was 1.5 LPA. These included Hindu College, Byju's, The Times of India, and other prestigious employers. In my class, not a single student was offered an internship. Among the most in-demand jobs were reporters and content writers.
    Infrastructure: The facilities were quite good. The hostel quality was good. Our college playing field was not big, but some sports like cricket, football, and badminton could be played. The canteen was not too good. Wi-Fi was available, and medical facilities were also available.
    Faculty: Our college faculty were well-educated. All of them held M. Tech. and Ph.D. degrees in their respective fields. One faculty member had achieved the highest GATE rank in India. The courses designed were quite useful and covered all the skills that engineers would need in the future. Semester exams were easy, with a 90 percent pass rate.

    Placements: Approximately 95% of students are placed between LPA 10 and LPA 15, with Times Group, India Today Group, Hindustan Times, and other publications being the first to recruit. The bulk of students (90%) secured internships in diverse businesses. Top occupations include Content Strategist, Social Media Manager, and others.
    Infrastructure: The college has a reliable Wi-Fi system. Libraries are ordinary. The food supplied is really tasty. It has adequate facilities for sports and activities. The library possesses all of the essential books. The classrooms are well-equipped, which helps the students develop. There is a hospital.
    Faculty: Professors here are highly certified and have extensive experience. Students are encouraged to learn more and have higher expectations for their work. Transfer training is well-managed. Students are prepared for jobs as early as their second year. Semester exams are rigorous, with a pass rate exceeding 30%.

    It is a decent college with good facilities.
    Placements: Placements are very poor for this course. There are many recruiting companies, especially foreign companies like the UAE, Saudi Arabia, etc. Although very few students got placed. Authorities are working on that part. The course is effective for academics and not for jobs.
    Infrastructure: The overall infrastructure is decent with well-structured labs, a good developing library, and facilities like Wi-Fi. Hostels are good and separate for both boys and girls. The hostel for girls is not yet fully developed. The building-related tasks will probably end within a few years.
    Faculty: The teaching staff members are good here. Some are excellent at teaching and solving doubts. Overall, most of them are very coordinated and cordial. They teach us relevantly according to the course curriculum. There are exams in every semester, which are well-timed. Exams are moderate to tough.
