    Calicut University offers distance education to students through its School of Distance Education. Formerly known as the Institute of Correspondence Courses and Continuing Education, the School of Distance Education, Calicut University was established in 1981-82. The Calicut University SDE offers 25 courses to students.

    The modes of Calicut University courses admission are online and offline. Calicut University offers UG, PG Diploma and doctoral courses, under 35 different departments divided into nine schools, for different streams, such as Engineering, Science, Law, Commerce and Management, among others. In addition to the regular courses, the university also has a School for Distance Education, Calicut University offering UG and PG courses. Calicut University admission for the majority of its UG and PG courses will be conducted through the Centralised Admission Process (CAP). CAP offers the facility for online submission of applications to various colleges and courses under Calicut University. Admission is open for most of the courses.     University of Calicut is a good university. Calicut University, also known as The University of Calicut, is a state-private university that was established in 1968 in Calicut. Calicut University has been ranked 69 under the University category by the NIRF in 2022. It is recognised by the UGC and is approved by the AICTE. It is accredited with an "A" Grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council. Admissions are open for various courses for 2023 and the accepted entrance exams are KEAM, CMAT, CUCAT, and others. Candidates must go through the KEAM 2023 result, KEAM 2023 question paper, and KEAM 2023 syllabus before giving the exam. Talking about the placements, according to the NIRF report 2023, a total of 151 out of 824 UG and PG students were placed during University of Calicut placements 2022. The median package offered to UG (3-year) and PG (1-year) students was INR 2.64 LPA and INR 3.96 LPA during placements 2022.

    Overall, the best college for M. Com. course.
    Placements: 60 percent of the students in M. Com. are placed. The lowest package is about 7 LPA, while the largest package is about 34 LPA. The top employers at our college are corporations like Atlas Copco, Dassault System, Tata Motors, and others. Accountants and tax advisors are among the top positions available. Nearly every student was able to find an internship.
    Infrastructure: Facilities are wonderful for learning, however, the hostel is not worth the money due to its archaic design. The hostel features a football and cricket pitch, however, it has not been completely rebuilt. Aside from that, our college campus is spotless and organized. The facility covers around 100 acres.
    Faculty: Faculty members are very cooperative. Our students don’t hesitate to ask any questions, and faculty members are always open to address our doubts. This course has truly prepared us for jobs. We have two exams every semester, one mid-semester exam and one end-of-semester exam. The overall passing score for each course is 30 points out of 100.

    Overall, the best university for M.Com. course.
    Placements: According to our findings, around 65 to 77 percent of students are placed each year. The maximum package is 19 LPA, while the lowest is 4 LPA. The average package in our college is 12 LPA. Top companies that visit here include L&T, Tata Engineering Consultancy, PwC, and others. Many students were assigned internships. Top jobs include CA, CFA, and others.
    Infrastructure: Our university infrastructure is excellent since the setting is conducive to university life. Infrastructure is likewise new, with free Wi-Fi available on campus for anyone. They also feature a vast study library and a place where students can learn new skills. There are also clinics at our university.
    Faculty: The instructors and non-teaching personnel are extremely helpful and supportive. Faculty members use creative teaching methods to instruct. Yes, the programme is appropriate for current market situations. Staff provide feedback on curriculum development. Semester exams are easy, with a pass rate of more than 72 percent.

    It is the best university for the M.Com course.
    Placements: This year, around half of the students in my department got placed. The average package offered is 7 LPA, and the highest salary package offered is 12 LPA. The lowest package offered is 3 LPA. Ten students got placed with a package of 7 LPA in companies like Walstar, Cognizant, Hexaware, etc. Students also get a six-month internship in the same company. 40 percent of students got placed with a salary of Rs. 40,000 per month. There are also openings for auditor and tax expert roles.
    Infrastructure: The department offers classrooms with Wi-Fi, modern laboratories, and a well-stocked library. Hotels are clean with comfortable rooms. We get healthy food in the mess and clean restaurants. It also has a stadium. The campus is safe with round-the-clock security and modern facilities to support student needs and extracurricular activities.
    Faculty: There are no issues because all teachers are highly educated and knowledgeable. They treat their students as friends. The course curriculum designed for the entire year is successful. All tests conducted are good, and all papers are triple or quadruple-checked before they are posted on the university website. Semester exams are challenging, and the pass rate is 35 percent.

    This college is best for the course M.Com Finance.
    Placements: This university provides excellent employment opportunities. Many technology companies, such as TNS and Anudeep Foundation, visit our college. They offer both internship and job opportunities. Every year, 80 to 90 percent of students secure jobs. The companies offer salary packages ranging from 3 LPA to 7 LPA to each student.
    Infrastructure: Our university infrastructure is excellent, and high-quality products and materials have been used in its construction. The college offers many excellent facilities, including clean classrooms, bathrooms, a canteen, and laboratories. Our college also has hostel facilities. The food served in the hostel is very delicious and healthy.
    Faculty: The faculty members at this university are highly knowledgeable and qualified. They provide high-quality education. They are very supportive and help in resolving any problems. The faculty members are quite strict and adhere to many rules and regulations. The course is designed to meet the demands of the industry. The student pass rate is 75 percent.

    My attractive and honest review of my college.
    Placements: Not many placement opportunities are provided by the college, only a small number of companies show interest, which has started from 2 years and not all courses provided by the college get placement, only a small number of courses and placements. Started off recently with placements, improving year by year, many corporate houses are looking to join hands with the institution.
    Infrastructure: No direct or food facility is offered by the institute. However, the institute helps in getting the facilities of the hostel. There are many boys' and girls' hostels in the university. If the institute helps, the student can easily avail of the hostel facility. Similarly, there is a common canteen on the campus which offers subsidized food, however, the quality of food is not that good.
    Faculty: Faculty members are majorly good. It could have been better if more practical orientation us added to it. Revisions in the course have taken place and new subjects have been added that are more useful in today's times. There are very good teachers, and I think more good faculty members are required because the college is at its growing stage. So it's very important to give good coaching to students by providing good quality faculty members. For M.Com, all subjects are common in the first year. For the second year, we have to choose our specialisation in a specific field. You get many options like finance, marketing, etc. Although the study is theoretical, no practical knowledge is provided. The course curriculum is very precise and gives a precious knowledge about the subject. My electives are finance and accounts.

    Placements: In this college every year multiple companies offer internships to the college. These companies provide 3 lacs to 6 lacs, these are the highest salary for every student. This course is a total of 4 batches and a total of 300 students are allocated in 4 batches.     Infrastructure: This college are best quality of materials used and provides many facilities for the students. This college also provides a hostel facility only for long-distance students. This college provides the best canteen facilities because there is very tasty and hygienic food provided.
    Faculty: This is a two-year master's degree program that students can pursue after completing their bachelor's degree. The course is challenging, as a minimum of 45% is required to pass the semester exams. The teachers in this program are highly qualified and provide excellent instruction.
