Dissatisfied with this college. There is no good education structure nor good placement support.
Placements: There was no placement support at all. I just attended classes and exams that felt meaningless. But when it came to real placement support, the college simply vanished as if it never existed. This was during my graduation, so I cannot say anything about the present time. Overall, there was no good support.
Infrastructure: There were only a few old classrooms in the name of infrastructure. Wi-Fi was available but seemed to be used mostly by teachers and college staff. Labs were rarely opened unless it was mandatory. The library was good, but the classrooms were not very good in my opinion. Some were very large, and some were very small.
Faculty: The exams felt meaningless and did not help in getting a real job. The curriculum was disappointing. It focused more on textbook theory instead of teaching practical skills needed for jobs or entrepreneurship.
Other: The crowd and campus life were good.

Good faculty and academic environment, but the infrastructure can be improved.
Placements: English Honours is not a placement-oriented course in our college, so the percentage of students getting formal campus placements is very low. Most students either prepare for competitive exams or take up private jobs on their own. On average, 10-15 percent of students get some kind of job opportunity through the college's career cell or seminars.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for the English honours department is decent and improving every year. Our classrooms are simple but well-maintained with proper seating and ventilation. The library is one of the best parts because it has a good collection of English literature books.
Faculty: The faculty in the English honours department is quite knowledgeable and experienced. Most teachers are very helpful and try to explain the concepts in a simple and understandable way. They are approachable and supportive, especially when it comes to cleaning doubts.
Other: I chose English honours because I have always enjoyed reading literature and wanted to study it in a deeper and more structured way. I do feel that some things can be improved, like having more seminars, workshops, and interactive sessions.

The college campus has basic facilities.
Placements: In the final year of the course, there is an opportunity to get into different companies, especially at the TCS-BPS recruitment facility, but not a sufficient number. Most of the students find a job on or off campus, or just study for a graduation degree or for postgraduate purposes.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is average. Wi-Fi, labs, and a library are available on the campus. There are no hostel facilities, playgrounds, or extra-curricular systems, but a small canteen is available that is sufficient to accommodate all students.
Faculty: Teachers are very friendly, supportive, and well-qualified. Every teacher is very helpful and caring towards the students. The basic bachelor's degree course is available, like B.Sc. and B.A. The semester examination is not very tough to pass.
Other: I'm a student of botany. This course is very fascinating for biology students. There is an excursion opportunity for the students to understand the plants and nature more deeply.

University of Kalyani review.
Placements: Companies are not coming to this college. This is only a government college, and there is nothing for placement. We have to suffer from a scarcity of placements. If you want placement, then you have to go outside for the company, and you will have to reach out by yourself to get that placement.
Infrastructure: I would say the college is good, but the infrastructure is not as good. The lab is also not well-maintained. The library is very good because it is a university library. Hostel facilities are decent, but the food quality is very bad. This is a government-funded university, so you get what is provided in government schools.
Faculty: Teachers are good, but we can say they are not as good as well. Examinations are held late. They always get delayed after every college admission. This exam is where everything starts because it is autonomous, and we can say that there is no proper system to manage the university department.
Other: If you are going to take admission here, please avoid it and take admission in a better college that is much better for you.

My sweet college in Tehatta.
Placements: This is a well-known college in Nadia. Almost 80% students got placed in B.A. Honors in history. The average package varies from 3 LPA to 6 LPA. Various companies come to our college and select the best students for their companies. About 40% student gets an internship. Many students got selected as lecturers and assistant professors in this course.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are well-designed, neat, and clean. There are CCTVs in almost all the classrooms. Digitally teaching equipment is also available. Everyone can get their necessary books related to their subjects in the library, which can help them. The hostel rooms are good. The food given in the hostel is hygienic. There are lots of opportunities in sports that students can avail themselves of.
Faculty: Teachers help us acquire in-depth knowledge about the subject. They are really helpful. During the holiday, they take online classes so that we don't miss the topics. The course curriculum is relevant. We can say the semester exams are not so tough to pass. The pass percentage is 40% overall.
Other: I am very curious about modern and ancient history, so I chose it. I feel relieved when I study the subject in depth. From history, you can know everything that happened in the past. A lot of functions like nabinbaran and agomoni are organized in the college seminar room.

My experience and your expectations of a college.
Placements: In the B.A. (General) course, there is no placement. No packages are offered in my course, and no recruiting companies visit. After completing this course, students become eligible for government jobs and other written exams.
Infrastructure: My college has good infrastructure, including digital boards for better learning. The library has good study materials and seating arrangements. I don't know about the hostel facilities as I live near the college.
Faculty: Teachers are really good, they teach us properly without any hesitation. They are well-qualified and knowledgeable, and overall, the teaching quality of all faculty members is good. Semester exams are quite easy and understandable. The pass percentage is 80%.
