Kalyani University offers BTech specialisations through WBJEE exam. Generally, candidates need to pass their 10+2 to be eligible for WBJEE and to get into the university. • Candidates should have passed the 10+2th standard (or equivalent) qualifying examination with Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry/Computer Science/Electronics/Information Technology/Biology/Informatics Practices/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational Subject/Agriculture/Engineering Graphics/Business Studies/Entrepreneurship.
• Should have secured a minimum of 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/PwD candidates) as an aggregate of three subjects in the qualifying exam.
• Must have passed in English in 10+2th standard (or equivalent) exam with at least 30% marks.
• The qualifying examination board should be recognised by the Central or State Government.
