My memorable journey at University of Kalyani.
Placements: In my college, University of Kalyani, Department of Electronics and Technological Studies, approximately 65% of students get placed. The highest package this year was 8.7 LPA, which was from an off-campus placement, while the lowest package was 3.7 LPA. The top recruiting companies this year include Siemens, Skinder Electronics, Kalpataru, etc. Students must participate in internships in their final year, and they can join multiple internships. I am pursuing an internship in IoT.
Infrastructure: In our department, we have three separate buildings. One is under construction, one is for students, and the other is for faculty members and offices. The student building has two floors, which consist of four big classrooms, one electronics lab, one digital lab for computer use, and a separate physics experiential lab for the required students. Our college has full Wi-Fi connectivity used in our computer labs. The whole university has a central library, multiple grounds, and one indoor game facility room.
Faculty: Teachers are quite helpful and qualified. Most of them explain things well and approachable way. The course curriculum is also very relevant, as our college follows Kalyani University, not MAKAUT. The semester exams are neither too easy nor too tough. They are manageable if the student prepares well for the subjects. Subjects become more difficult as the year of study. But the proper preparation, following classes, and studying from books or other study materials are enough to clear exams with good marks.
Other: By choosing this course based on my interest in electronics, I opted for electronics and instrumentation engineering in the counseling process. Students may receive scholarships like Oasis or SVMCM if they are eligible. The things that can be improved in our college are the electronics lab and the club facilities.

Huge campus and lots of greenery.
Placements: The placement of the college is not so good, I would say. On campus, but off campus the placements are pretty good. The scenario can change in a few years. Overall, you have to work hard to get placed in a company; your skills matter more. It's really up to you.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are nice and have everything that we need. Labs are also resourceful and good enough. There is a library in the college where you can take books and read them. There are several canteens, and the food is also good. Drinking water is available.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and well qualified. They provide great knowledge to us. The course curriculum is well maintained. The semester exams are also good but equally difficult. It makes the students industry-ready, and I think it's a good thing. Overall, good.
Other: I chose my course, Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, because that's the best I can get with my WBJEE rank. The fests are nice.

Reviewing my second home .
Placements: In our university campus or in our department of electronics and technological studies, approximately 70% of job seekers get placed. We get placements like 9 LPAs and more. My seniors got higher packages like 11.1 LPA and can be as low as 4 LPA. We got placements from companies like TRL, Siemens, JLC Manufacturers, etc. We also get internships in these companies, like Microtek, Schinder, etc. We got job roles like circuit design engineer, manufacturing manager, backed developed, and director.
Infrastructure: In our department, dets, we have 3 lab classes, one classroom for theoretical classes. We alsohas one computer lab to code the arduino and all the for projects. We also have a separate library for our department. We also has 7 faculty members especially for our department. We also have a canteen, where we can have various food options at affordable prices. There are multiple play grounds where we can play games like football, cricket, badminton, etc.
Faculty: The faculty members are very helpful and cooperative in manner of teaching, ought solving, and all. They will prepare us through our they will also prepare us to deal with our future work presentations and industrial problems. The course curriculum is well structured, which makes a student industry ready. The semester exams are not very difficult, but it vary by on the taken by student. Teachers also take weekly test to examine the preparation of each student.
Other: I've keen interest von electronics and I want to make it my professions so I've chosen this course. In our college there are mainly 2 functions hosted one is the freshers welcome and another is the college fest hosted by the student's union.

The college provides good infrastructure, but the placements are average.
Placements: Students who have scored a higher percentage in academics got placed. Very few companies visit our college for placements. The average salary package offered ranges between 2.4-3 LPA. About 85% of the students from our course got an internship. In the previous year, many good companies visited our college for placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good enough. Our college is spread over about 400 acres. The college provides a good library with a lot of books. The main building is called an administrative building, and it is situated in the mid zone. Wi-Fi facility is available on the campus so students can easily access it.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are too good. Some of the faculty members are highly experienced. They all are PhD holders and teach very well. There are also guest faculty. They are good and very helpful. Apart from technical subjects, many subjects like the environment and industry basic are also taught.
Other: I have chosen this course because I like this subject. Our college provides good facilities, but some facilities should be improved. I wish the college should provide equipment in labs. The college conducts many sports every year like cricket, badminton, football, kabaddi, etc. The annual fest named Reunion is also organised every year. The college also provides some scholarships for students. Students who scored above 75% in academics in a year can get Bikash Bhavan Scholarship.

Review of University of Kalyani.
Placements: Around 50% of the students get placed, and few students seek for higher studies like M.Tech. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 6 LPA. TCS, Infosys and Wipro are the top recruiting companies of our college. But other than this, competitions are high like GATE exams.
Infrastructure: The campus is spread around 400 acres. The main administration building is situated in the middle zone, and the departments are situated around the admin building. The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled. The central library has many books, and there are digital medium facilities to study.
Faculty: All the professors here are very helpful, and all are PhD qualified. They conduct extra classes to cover the syllabus. Quality of teaching is above-average, but they make sure to clear the concept. The course curriculum is highly relevant, and from the start of 4th-semester, industry-related subjects are taught.
Other: I have chosen this course because I have a deep interest in the section of electronic and coding since my childhood. I wish the college to increase the role of practicals. You can get scholarships like NSP, etc., as a basis to your merit.

This college is good to get a degree but not for placements.
Placements: There are no placements in this course. In the last four or five years, none of the companies visited here for placements. This year only one company visited our college, and it offered a salary package of 2.4 LPA. Only a few students from both IT and electronics and instrumentation were recruited.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good, and everything which is required is available here. There are good library faculty members, and the facilities are also good. Classrooms are well facilitated, and there is Wi-Fi facility in the department. There is one library called central library which has a huge stock of books. The condition of the hostel is satisfactory. The food available in the hostel is good and healthy. The food served in the canteen is also good.
Faculty: Teachers and professors here are really very helpful, well educated and qualified. They conduct the class daily, and they teach very well and properly. There are also some guest teachers. They are also knowledgeable and teach very well. The course curriculum is relevant.
Other: My course is B.Tech in EIE. There is counselling in WBJEE through which I got this stream. I think our college should improve this course a little. Lab facilities are good, but they should be better. Our college organises many events and fests and the annual fest named Reunion. Students also get scholarships every year. Our college conducts many extracurricular activities such as games like cricket, badminton, football basketball, etc., and many more.

Infrastructure: 1. The facilities and infrastructure of our college is good. There is a broadband connection, projectors and also a huge stock of good books in the library. 2. The hostel facilities are also good. Rooms are airy, as well as single rooms are also available.
Faculty: 1. The teachers are very helpful and talkative. Well qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching style is very simple. 2. They give us not only theoretical knowledge but also practical knowledge so that we could do better in future.
Other: 1. College is too good. I chose this course as it was my dream. 2. Our total course and campus are the best.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the college.
Placements: The college doesn't provide placements. You have to find a job on your own. Your seniors may help you with this, but the college authorities do not help. Even the placement officer does nothing. You can hardly find a company if your seniors arrange it.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is not good. I suggest you avoid this college. The surroundings are like a jungle. Even you can find cows roaming around the college. Labs are bad, the maximum equipment is not working and they are present for the namesake.
Faculty: Some faculty members were very good and taught us very well, but not all the faculty members are good. Some of the faculty really think about the students and their future. They really care about us. The course curriculum is pretty good, no doubt, but it was not taught well.
Other: No event is conducted in the college. There is no crowd on the campus. No cellular network is available on the campus.
