It is a good college and course to study.
Placements: Good college and I am in the batch from 2021 to 2024. I had completed my degree courses, and I got 70%. In my batch, the highest percentage was about 94. Most students got placed in good and reputed companies like HCL, Wipro, etc. This was a good college for studying and placements.
Infrastructure: In my course, there was a good infrastructure. The B.Sc. CS courses had all the lab facilities and classrooms. The library was good to learn and easy. All the books were available in the library. The canteen and mess were good. Food was good to eat.
Faculty: Most of the teachers at the college were helpful and qualified. All the teachers were given the best in teaching us. In the education of subjects, every book and topic was so much relevant to the career. Semester exams were not much difficult if we studied well.

Dr. MGR - Janaki College of Arts and Science for Women
Placements: In our college, a large number of students have enrolled in the Computer Science course. The highest salary package offered is 24 LPA, while the lowest is 4 LPA. Many top companies visit our campus for recruitment. Some students have secured internships, while others have been offered full-time jobs.
Infrastructure: We have a well-equipped infrastructure to support student learning and development. All subject labs and nice classrooms are available. We also have a library with a good stock of books and Wi-Fi access. Additionally, medical facilities are provided for both hostellers and day scholars.
Faculty: We have the best faculty, who are well-educated and qualified. They are very knowledgeable and friendly with students while teaching. The course is highly relevant to software companies. The faculty's teaching is excellent, and the exams are very moderate.

Good infrastructure but bad placements.
Placements: All the companies that come to our college are for the BBA. There are hardly any companies for Visual Communication. 0% of my batch got placed. Let alone being placed, we are not provided with internships as well. All of us researched for the jobs through LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.
Infrastructure: My college might lack in placements but it has a gorgeous campus and a very clean and properly maintained canteen. Our canteen also has a separate counter for Jain food. Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and libraries are top-notch. We are also provided with Macs. Medical and sports facilities are decent too.
Faculty: We are low on staff and the professors are not good either. Sometimes it feels like they themselves do not know what their subject is about. We complained multiple times and had professors changed too. The pass percentage is different for each subject. But it is around 30% for all in general.
Other: I chose this course to pursue my passion for photography. Some of the best things for me would be the 10 days long field trips where we explore cities and capture wildlife. Improvements I would suggest are better teaching staff.

Students get such nice memories.
Placements: Roles like R&D (research and development), purity check, etc., are offered. We can join any laboratories as an assistant chemist, chemist, or lab operator. We can also have a future in the medical field and can also work as a senior lab technician after internships of above six months or more.
Infrastructure: Our college provides nice classrooms. The hostel prices are reasonable. The hostel food is just great. It provides free tiffin in the morning and evening, and they give us lunch. The mess provides lunch for students who opt for it.
Faculty: Exams' answer booklets are corrected three times by different teachers. It conducts exams perfectly, but we have to study hard to get the highest marks, which makes our future great. We also need to understand what we're studying.
Other: I suggest students just go and join the college.

Overall, I'm satisfied with teaching and infrastructure, but not satisfied with the placements.
Placements: About 40% of students got placed in famous hospitals. The highest package is about 8 LPA, the average is 3 LPA, and the lowest is 2 LPA. The top hospitals, like Kilpauk Medical Hospital, visit our campus. The top roles are service learning in community-based field work and clinical settings.
Infrastructure: There is a library located in the college, LED screens in every classroom, and highly equipped labs. There are sports facilities, and they do conduct inter-department sports competitions and sports day. Physical education is compulsory to be completed in the first year of UG, but it is not good. Food experience is average, and there are good medical facilities for students.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and always ready to guide students with their knowledge, and are very educational with their teaching techniques. The course is relevant to the field and industry with an updated syllabus. The semester is not so difficult and can be managed easily by the students in exams, and 50% is the percentage to pass the exam.

Good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Placements in our college are not very good. Companies with fewer packages only come for interviews. There are no internships in our college. They do not provide notes. They conduct an intercollegiate program which is very helpful for us to interact with other college students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college looks very old since it was built in the early centuries. We have a hostel facility in our college. They provide food in our hostel. We have a canteen in our college which is very small and does not contain many food items. It is not clean.
Faculty: Our college contains qualified professors. Semester exams are not very tough. We should score at least 40% to pass exams. They conduct exams for major and allied subjects. There are also practical exams. There are six semesters in our college.
Other: I am currently doing my 2nd year of physics at Presidency College. Our department contains many legacies. Cv Raman and Chandrasekar sirs are the alumni of our college. Our department does not conduct any events.
