Dissatisfied because of the faculty, the services and infrastructure and bad placements .
Placements: Placements are given in the college but the percentage is like 15-20% and the package is too low like just 1-3 LPA and there's mo particular top recruiting company, internships were available but they were in so bad companies no student did internship from college and top roles that were usually offered were just telecalling, sales, business development and marketing .
Infrastructure: No Wi-Fi anywhere except for IT labs and no air conditions every student has to suffer severe heat the canteen is *** the sports and games are *** medical facilities are average food quality is below average like taste is good but not hygienic .
Faculty: No teachers are helpful and the teaching quality is *** no the course curriculum is not at all relevant there's no practical knowledge for students to become industry ready the exams are kind off corrupt as teachers give importance to their favourite students mostly .

Average infrastructure, below average placement support, but great people around.
Placements: The top recruiters were Accenture and they didn't really have a very high package. 7 LPA is the highest package. A few students got placed as DE or data analysts. The placements are very bad so far most students go for off-campus opportunities. The college does not really support a lot in these cases.
Infrastructure: There is no hostel for girls. Classrooms are okay. Labs have equipment, labs have AC, but classrooms don't. Semester 2 is very difficult to survive due to Mumbai heat. Canteen is shared with the degree college and the food is pretty decent. However basic facilities like washrooms are well maintained.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. Most of them will be supportive, a few might be strict, but they would easily give internals. Curriculum is average. After the college became autonomous, the syllabus has not been at its best but they are improving and hopefully doing the best. It's very easy to pass semester exams; that's a huge perk. You would literally study a night before the exam and get an 8 plus pointer.

Faculty, placements, and internships are good.
Placements: You had to score above 80% in the 12th standard to get into this course. Placement opportunities were available in DFSL, along with internships offered to both bachelor's and master's students. Students worked as forensic experts in the Mobile Forensic Van with good salaries.
Infrastructure: Classrooms were well maintained, along with good infrastructure and facilities such as water filters and a good volleyball court. The Wi-Fi was also good. Every department had its own Wi-Fi. There were good opportunities and support for sports and other extracurricular activities.
Faculty: Faculty members were helpful and supportive. They guided us through various stages of our careers. Semester exams were a bit challenging because it was very difficult to complete the 100-mark paper within 3 hours. It was quite lengthy. Overall, the pass percentage depended on the students' performance.
Other: Events were very interesting, beautiful fest, beautiful people, and faculty members.

If you learn skills and have a good pointer, then you will definitely get a good job.
Placements: Around 70–75% of students get placed with an average package of 7–8 LPA. The recruiting companies include Deloitte, startups, and many more. The roles offered are SDE, Java Developer, Data Analyst, and many more. Skills are very important for getting a job. I suggest focusing on developing your skills from the first year.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is decent. The food is also decent. Mostly, our college does not have its own hostel. Many students come from other cities and live in nearby hostels. Our campus has a canteen. It provides meals that are decent in taste and also offers snacks that are good in taste.
Faculty: Faculty members are qualified, helpful, and knowledgeable. We also learn coding through practical sessions, which help us in practicing, though not to a great extent. If you study, the exams are not difficult to pass. There should be more knowledge related to industrial practices, but that is one area where the college is lagging.
Other: I decided to do this course. I think I should start coding from the first year. The college crowd is decent, but the campus is not what you expect. It is not that great in terms of value for money.

B.E. in Electrical Engineering - Batch of 2025
Offered by St. Francis Institute of Technology

3.0Placements3.0Infrastructure3.0Faculty3.0Crowd & Campus Life3.0Value for Money
Completed B.E. Electrical Engineering with 7.5–8 GPA (average efforts), no backlogs, & best library.
Placements: I completed B.E. Electrical Engineering in 2025. Around 95% of students were placed on campus. The highest package for my course was 8 LPA. The top recruiting companies included Tata Power, Voltas, and Polycab. Internships were mostly self-found by students, mainly in MSETCL. The top roles offered during placements were GET (Electrical).
Infrastructure: The college had Wi-Fi. It allowed students to complete research and access educational resources anywhere on campus. Classrooms had projectors for teaching and student presentations. The library included computers and books for every department, along with updated resources that were regularly renewed.
Faculty: All teachers were qualified. Almost everyone had completed a Master’s degree in their respective departments. The college became autonomous during my tenure. Earlier, it followed the Mumbai University syllabus, which was strictly followed. Semester exams were based on classroom lectures and syllabus content only, which was an advantage.

Mixed bag of infrastructure, placement, and faculty but great ROI.
Placements: Around 70 percent of students from both circuit and non-circuit branches got placed. Top recruiters are Siemens, Citibank, Lodha group, and startups as well with an average package of around 8 LPA. This went higher for CS IT but overall decent. Many analyst roles are offered but most roles need a DSA for tech while non-tech roles vary. Around 50 percent of students got internships from college while the rest did research internships and gigs from government organisations as well. The highest internship stipend is around 1.4 lacs per month. The highest package for placements is around 40 LPA.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi services are patchy, the department does not have adequate labs available, and equipment is also in short supply. Many times, we have to get our own laptops to run simulations. ECE-specific labs are limited and cramped as well. However they are making new labs and renovating old ones so hopefully the situation improves. Classrooms are newly renovated but not all of them have ACs.
Faculty: Teachers are alright, some are good some not so much. You can easily pass by attending lectures or getting proper notes from someone who does. Most exams are moderately difficult and almost everyone can pass. Courses are semi-relevant but for industrial knowledge students have to rely on external sources.
