Mumbai University conducts NEST for admission to its Integrated M.Sc courses. However, it is not compulsory for selection. Like any other Institution/University maintaining an attendance of 75% is mandatory for the students at Mumbai University. The University has its own Attendance Committee, for the smooth conduct of this ordinance in every Department. As per the Attendance Ordinance, candidates must maintain at least 75% attendance for each course & average attendance. If the students fail to maintain the number, the department/college doesn’t forward the examination form to the University exam unit. However, a minimum attendance of 50% is considered in special cases like health issues, family losses, etc.

- You need to be Indian citizens.
- Must have passed Class 12 Board Examination from any recognised educational institution under state board or national board of education.
- You must have secured 45% marks in aggregate in qualifying exam.
- If belonging to SC/ ST category of Maharashtra state then minimum marks required are 40%. For VJNT, SBC & OBC categories in Maharashtra, you need minimum of 42% in qualifying exam to take MHCET Law 2025 exam for 5-year LLB.
