B.Com. (Management Studies) - Batch of 2027
Offered by B.K. Birla College of Arts, Science and Commerce
4.6
I'm definitely satisfied.
Placements: Up to 20-30% of students were placed in my course. The highest would be 4-5 LPA, the lowest is 1.5-2 LPA. and the average would be 2-3 LPA. Wipro, Accenture, Kotak Life Insurance, and many more are top recruiters. Up to 40-50% of students got an internship. Top roles offered are Sales Executive, Account Executive, and Marketing.
Infrastructure: The whole college is wrapped in greenery. There are three different buildings based on the course. A neat and clean library with great quality of food in the canteen, long routes to roam, and have fun with friends during break. We have grounds for sports and even a huge seminar hall.
Faculty: Teachers are very friendly and helpful. They even help during exams. Every teacher is well qualified. The teachers provide a question bank to the students, so it becomes easy for them to study and pass. The pass % would be 90-95%. Yes, the college provides internships, which makes the students industry-ready.
Other: I chose this course because I was interested in marketing, and the best thing about my course is the practical learning. I wish that a few trees outside the college gate were cut because the crowd makes the entrance dirty. The college has everything from events, concerts, and extracurricular activities.

Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) - Batch of 2027
Offered by H.R. College of Commerce and Economics

It is a dream college for students pursuing professional courses with amazing faculty.
Placements: About 90 percent of the crowd is pursuing professional courses like CA, CFA, CMA, etc. These students do not utilise the placement opportunities as they are already doing articleship training for their professional career. Hence, college placements are available in abundance due to the good reputation of the college. The top recruiting companies prefer students from here.
Infrastructure: HR College recently underwent renovation. All classrooms are equipped with whiteboards, smart boards, and ACs that mostly operate at students' discretion. Seats are comfortable, and rooms are spacious with several windows overlooking surroundings. The library is equipped with several books that are very useful for all courses, especially financial markets. Vending machines are available on some floors and in the canteen as well.
Faculty: Teachers at HR College are among the best and most knowledgeable. They do not provide knowledge just within academics, but also worldwide knowledge. The course curriculum is to the point and relevant. However, a subject in B.Com is termed as an open elective, which is actually a compulsory subject about environmental studies.
Other: There are several field trips, exchange programs, and student trips to places like Shimla, Amritsar, etc. Enactus, sessions with alumni, events like HR speaks, which promote engagement and help growth amongst students to make them ready for their future. Many students pursue professional courses. HR College is very understanding about attendance percentage.

Overall, the average college is better in subject of standards.
Placements: The college is not something you would call prestigious so likewise the placement offers are also very low-paying and for lower positions. The college also doesn't seem to have many connections in huge companies and firms, most of the offers come from small firms to mid-sized companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is one of the worst qualities of this college. There are random pillars in classrooms that completely block the whiteboards. The toilets are always dirty. The corridors always seem dull and dark and it feels like it could be a set for a horror movie. The new floor they built is pretty decent.
Faculty: Some professors are really great and kind but most of them are grumpy and have attitude problems. It feels like they cannot bear to watch students having fun. Sometimes they create problems internationally for students. The submissions get postponed at the last minute. Teaching-wise most of them just read off the material from some low-quality PPTs.
Other: There are always events happening around the college, people dancing, singing, and playing games. There are also a lot of quizzes and educational games. They are the only people who make this college look alive.

Satisfied because of the easy curriculum, flexible attendance and good placements.
Placements: Placement cell of Ghanshyamdas Saraf College provides various placement opportunities and internship offers regularly, such as internship offers by the University of Mumbai Kalina campus, etc. Roles across various fields such as IT, HR, executive jobs, etc, are offered.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure at Ghanshyamdas Saraf is basic but better than average. Classrooms, library, and computer labs are all there and functional. Maintenance is good and won't get in the way of your studies. Other infrastructure like football and basketball turfs, a stationary shop, a college office, an auditorium and an event hall, etc., are available as well.
Faculty: It's a decent place overall. Some subjects and professors are better than others, but you get what you put in. Good enough if you're clear about your goals. Semester exams are pretty easy and relevant to the curriculum, and help to make students industry-ready. The 22-credit point system is used now.
Other: Ghanshyamdas Saraf College gives you a solid foundation for B.Com. I'm doing a professional course other than B.Com, for which I needed a decent college. There's plenty to learn and benefit from. It's a good place to build your base and figure out your next steps. Extracurricular activities are taken seriously.

The college is best if you are pursuing another course and need time to build some skills.
Placements: The overall placement is awesome in the college. It has its own placement cell with top MNCs and corporate companies. With a good alumni network, college placement also becomes easy. Every year, top MNCs and corporate companies visit the college during placement.
Infrastructure: I don't know much about the hostel, but it's affordable and near the college. I think this is best in the city because leaving and spending in Mumbai is not that easy, and hence the college wins.
Faculty: Teachers are too helpful. Examinations are carried out with care and consideration for the future. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Exams are not difficult, all you need is to study. College provides a question bank, back support from the teacher regarding any doubts, and a student-friendly environment. Courses are the best and most valuable in the market, with support from teachers.
Other: I chose it because I am also pursuing another course. More strictness regarding attendance should be improved. They are the best in the city.

My normal college and good small campus.
Placements: My course is B.Com 2024-2027, and normally I say no placement is good in this college. Normally, no highest paying placements in this college. The students are normally doing jobs in any bank account service and normally work as accountants in the banking sector.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not good, it's average. The facilities are average. Classrooms are good with a 150 seating arrangement for students. There is slow Wi-Fi in every classroom, and the library is good, but the library faculty is not good in this college. There is no hostel in this college. The food is good but not tasty.
Faculty: Teachers are good and helpful. However, sometimes teachers' behavior is rude towards all students. Teachers are knowledgeable, and the teaching quality is good, but the understanding of all subject teachers can be rude. There are a total of 6 semesters in this course. B.Com is a 3-year program.
Other: I chose this course because it is an easy B.Com course, and I normally find account knowledge to be good. There are many subjects in this course; a total of 11 subjects feels overloaded. Please decrease the number of subjects. Many events are attended in the college, like Navratri celebrations and various types of fests conducted in the college. There is no scholarship in this college. The crowd is good, and the college is located in the main city.

I am absolutely satisfied with the faculty.
Placements: Almost 80% of students got placements. I don't know about the lowest package, but the highest package offered is 6 LPA. Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, Kotak Bank, and some new firms are the recruiting companies. In total, 28 companies hire students from our college. Top roles offered are business operations manager and sales manager.
Infrastructure: There are 2 libraries, and both are good. Both have Wi-Fi facilities, and the environment is very good in the library. There is no hostel. Facilities in the college are good. There are two canteens in the college. Big sports grounds, seminar halls, etc., are also available.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and are very good at teaching. They are very helpful to students. Semester exams are not that difficult because teachers teach very well. In the last semester, the result was almost 90%. The course curriculum is relevant.
Other: I chose this course because I was interested in this field and wanted to build a basic understanding. My overall experience in Guru Nanak College has been average. The campus is decent, and the crowd is okay. Some events and fests are held in the college, but not very frequently. The location is good, and connectivity is easy. The college is near my house.

Good overall. Just keep good attendance.
Placements: So Mithibai has this rule that if a student, for some reason fails to attend a scheduled interview that they applied for, they will ban them from future placements. That's something to be careful about. When it comes to top recruiting companies, many top companies came for placements, some of them, even from the Big 4.
Infrastructure: Talking about Wi-Fi is questionable because it's sometimes available, sometimes not, and usable only for specific sites/apps, not for all. Talking about classrooms, almost all are nice, but some have AC problems that are not fixed even after multiple requests. The library is nice. The canteen is also available.
Faculty: The faculty is very nice at least at BBI. They are very helpful with whatever questions you have about your career or about the curriculum. They are supportive. The curriculum is almost relevant but some subjects are very irrelevant for BBI like Garba, media, psychology, food, music, etc. The infrastructure is very neat compared to all colleges. The library, lifts, classrooms, canteens, etc., are also nice.
Other: Being a part of this college is nevertheless, a proud thing. The college overall is always clean.
