DCJ Entrance Exam Counselling 2026 will begin after the declaration of DCJ exam result. The date for counselling will be announced on the official website of Department of Communication and Journalism. Candidates who will appear for DCJ 2026 entrance exam and pass the online test will be called for counselling, if they meet the eligibility criteria set by the institute. For DCJ 2026 counselling, the institute will release a list of names of candidates eligible for admission in the DCJ 2026 result.

DCJ Exam Counselling 2026 Documents Required

The candidate who will be selected for admission to the Department of Communication and Journalism has to carry the following documents at the time of counselling.

Class 10 mark sheet

Class 12 mark sheet

Bachelor degree mark sheets (all years)

Mark sheet of any other degree after Bachelor’s (if any)

Education Gap Certificate (if any)

Aadhar Card

Passport size photograph

Signature

Degree certificate/ Provisional certificate

DCJ Exam Counselling 2026: Instructions for Selected candidates

Candidates must follow the steps for counselling:

  • Candidates can pay the fees in cash or by demand draft.
  • Local candidates from Mumbai will have to collect a challan copy from the department.
  • Outstation candidates can courier their DD along with other documents to the following address: Department of Communication and Journalism, 2nd Floor, Health Centre Building, University of Mumbai, Kalina Campus, Santacruz (East), Mumbai: 400098.
  • Candidates are advised, if the couriered DD and documents do not reach the university in the stipulated time, then the seat will be given to the next waitlisted candidate.
  • The fee for the course must be paid before the scheduled date to confirm the seat and the duplicate receipt must be submitted to the Department at the Kalina Campus as proof of payment.
