DCJ Mumbai Exam Pattern 2026: The Department of Communications and Journalism (DCJ), University of Mumbai, prescribes the DCJ entrance exam pattern. The exam pattern of DCJ consists of the stages, sections, time duration, and the marking scheme of the exam. As per the DCJ entrance exam pattern, the candidates will have to sit for an entrance test, group discussion, and personal interview. Candidates must check the DCJ entrance exam pattern before starting their preparations.

DCJ Entrance Exam Pattern 2026

The candidate will first have to give a written test, which will have four questions/statements to debate and discuss. The paper shall cover local, national, and international issues and ideas. There will be a question on creative writing. For each answer, there will be a word limit. Candidates are assessed on originality and quality of content, language and grammar, articulation, historical context, word management, and conclusion.

DCJ Entrance Exam 2026 Interview

Each candidate will be given at least three minutes to present himself/herself and clearly state the purpose and motivation of doing the course. The interview is conducted orally. No electronic device is allowed. The student can interact in either English/Hindi, or Marathi. The candidate will be assessed for their language, presentation, clarity of purpose, and overall impressions.

Note: The candidate taking the DCJ 2026 entrance exam will have to score an aggregate of 150 marks in three tests to qualify for admission to the course. Admission to the course shall be decided by merit in marks obtained in the examination.
