    Utkal University course admission is both merit and entrance exam-based. Below are the eligibility and selection criteria for some of the programmes offered at Utkal University:

    Candidates who qualify for entrance examinations or are shortlisted based on their marks in the qualifying examination will have to report to the admission cell at Utkal University for document verification and fee payment for final seat allotment.

    Q:   What is the selection criteria for Utkal University integrated programmes?
    A: 

    Admission to integrated courses such as BBA-MBA is based on the Common PG Entrance Test (CPET) conducted by the university. Candidates are shortlisted based on marks secured in the entrance exam (70% weightage) and academic records (30%). A merit list is released to announce the names of selected students. These candidates can then report at the university on the day and at the time prescribed by the university. After document verification and fee payment, admission is confirmed. The number of seats left vacant is announced at the time of admission. In this case, other students can get a chance. For any queries, candidates can reach out to their course coordinators. 

    Q:   What is the expected Utkal University NEET SS Cutoff 2025?
    A: 

    The Utkal University NEET SS Cutoff 2025 for admission to the DM and MCh courses for students belonging to the All India quota will be released soon. However, as per the Utkal University NEET SS Cutoff 2024, the cutoff ranged from 170 to 7375 in the last round. In the first round, the cutoff was in the range of 239 to 3087 for admission to the DM and MCh courses.

    Therefore, going by the cutoff of 2024, we can expect the cutoff to range somewhere near this range. The NEET Super Speciality cutoff is the minimum percentile of marks required by candidates to qualify for the exam in that particular super speciality group. Students can click here to know more about the Utkal University NEET SS Cutoff 2025.

    Q:   Are there any scholarships offered by Utkal University?
    A: 

    Yes, the University offers a RUSA Doctoral Fellowship for / MPhil PhD students. The University announces the fellowship of INR 50,000 to INR 75,000 per month depending upon the academic qualifications, research competencies and publications for a maximum period of four years. For this fellowship, candidates can apply through the Common Research Entrance Test (CRET). Apart from this, many other merit and need-based scholarships are also offered such as POSCO Asian Scholarship, Poverty-Cum-Merit Scholarship, namely Khiragovinda, Post-Metric Scholarship, Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan Scholarship, etc.

    Placements: A very high percentage, i.e., more than 75% of students get placed in the top companies in India. The highest package offered in this course is 20 LPA and the lowest package offered is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies in India visit the college to hire students from our course. The percentage of students who got internships in this course is 90%.
    Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available in my department are super. Wi-Fi, classrooms, library as well as labs are available for students in the college. The quality of food in college is so good. Medical facilities are available. Sports and games are also present in my course.
    Faculty: Teachers in my college are so helpful, qualified as well as knowledgeable. All teachers have great teaching qualities. This course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are difficult. The past percentage is 70% in my course.
    Other: I chose this course to get the best knowledge of Commerce. Events and campus crowd are so far. Scholarships are not available.

    A good university with good faculty and facilities.
    Placements: I am studying for a master's in commerce second year in post graduation department of commerce at Utkal University. Recruiting comapnies are ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, Loreal, Hindustan Petroleum, etc. In our batch, around 54 out of 54 students got internship opportunities in HDFC Bank, FCI, OMC, OMFED, Xiomi, SBI, etc.
    Infrastructure: There are 7 boys' hostels and 7 girls' hostels on campus. We have 3 Wi-Fi routes, an E-library, and air-conditioned classrooms. Hostels are clean and well-maintained. The food facility is very good. Hostel guards, wardens, and cleaning staffs are very responsible.
    Faculty: There are 7 faculty members in our Department. They are very friendly, helpful, and cooperative. They also encourage in extracurricular activities. There are 2 semesters per year. Students have to face 4 semesters in their whole 2 years. In every semester, there is a mid-semester exam of 30 marks and end-semester of 70 marks.

    Best college for a Masters degree.
    Placements: Placement comes but no one accepts the offer, as most of the students who want to go in the lectureship line join this course. The package offered can be around 2.5 LPA to 3 LPA. Companies that recruit are mostly Pvt. CA firms, Reliance Retail Smart, etc. An internship has to be done by everyone and that is the only compulsory thing you guys have to do. Companies like OPTCL, OMC, OHPC, NALCO, OMFED, etc. provide you with an internship lasting 1-2 months.
    Infrastructure: There is a huge library on the campus. You have a separate building for your department. classrooms with smart boards. The interior is too good as compared to different colleges in BBSR. The infrastructure is good, with a wide parking area and a garden in front of the department building.
    Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable, as their notes are very important. Each and every line taught in class has a deep connection with exam questions. This course is highly relevant, as children can experience and gain valuable insights from the teachers. Semester exams are highly difficult as this is PG level and you have to study accordingly. If you work hard, you can definitely pass the exams.
    Other: I chose this course as I want to pursue a further career in lectureship line. The best thing about my course is that I have deep, thorough knowledge into every topic and I can get better guidance under this university. The improvement that must be made is about the timing, which is from 10 to 5 p. m. There are various events conducted and seminars are conducted on a monthly basis. The campus life is too good and peaceful. The campus is totally surrounded by trees, which gives you a natural feeling. Extracurricular activities like quiz, painting, acting, etc. are held. Inter-college competitions are also held.

    Really good infrastructure and facilities and good placement.
    Placements: 65% of students have been placed in my course. The highest package is 8.5 LPA, and the lowest package is 3.4 LPA. The top recruiting companies are HDFC, SBI, AXIS Bank, etc. The top roles offered in my course are Accountant. 56% of students got internships in banks at your course.
    Infrastructure: The college has CCTV cameras for students' safety. It has a Wi-Fi system, well-equipped labs, classrooms, library, auditorium, etc. Hostel quality is not good and major students are nearly president. The canteen food quality is good and healthy. The college provides medical facilities for suddenly sick students.
    Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, and some teachers give suggestions for exams. Teachers' teaching quality is no doubt good. This course is curriculum-relevant. It makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams in my college are not tough; teachers don't allow cheating. Pass percentage is 70-80%.
    Other: The college campus environment is really good. Fests & Events are organized by the college. I think the hostel facility needs to improve. Extracurricular activities are also provided for students. I love this subject; that's why I chose it.

    Infrastructure: The college has a Wi-Fi system, well-equipped classrooms, labs, and a library. The hostel is not of good quality. The college has a canteen that provides good quality and tasty food. The college offers medical facilities for students. The college infrastructure is really good.
    Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is good, but some teachers' topics are not understood. This course is curriculum-relevant and makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams are normal in my college, with a pass percentage of 80-85%.
    Other: I like this subject because I found my career. The campus surroundings are good.
