Good academics and an affordable course.
Placements: Around 20 percent of my friends get placed during the 3rd semester. One of my friends also got selected at EIL in the final semester. Placement drives are conducted during the final semester. There is also a possibility of three or more students getting selected by the JSW Group of Industries.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is provided in the hostel, classrooms, and library. Classrooms are well-furnished with sufficient lighting, fans, and AC. The e-library is one of the best facilities provided by the college. Hostels are affordable for students. It costs around Rs. 3,000–Rs. 4,000 per annum.
Faculty: Exams are conducted strictly. Teachers are brilliant. They are well-qualified and helpful. They support students not only in academics but also in their personal growth by providing mentorship and guidance. The course is designed in a way that helps students academically. It also prepares them for examinations like UGC NET.

There are good faculty members and good placements in other departments.
Placements: There are 60 students in each batch of the IMBA course. Placements are not good. Usually, they do not bring many companies. Internships have to be found on your own. Every student has to do an internship compulsorily in the 5th year. Normally, private banks come for recruitment. Otherwise, placements are not good in our department.
Infrastructure: Hostel quality is average. Different departments have different labs. Classrooms are okay types in our department. The quality of food in the hostel is below average. But our university has 2 canteens and 2 markets for everything, which is nice. Banks and ATMs are here.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and are also helpful. Though in my department, the things they teach are quite outdated. Not based on recent things, but basically, they are knowledgeable. Semester exams are difficult or easy, depending on the teachers. 90% of students pass.
Other: I am from the IMBA (3+2) batch at Utkal University. For the first 3 years, the course fee is around Rs. 42,000. The last 2 years will be around Rs. 53,000.

Overall, this is a great college with friendly and supportive teachers.
Placements: Around 23 students are enrolled in the course I am doing. It provides great knowledge about politics in both academic and practical ways. We get to interact with people outside as this course is all about politics, and political work happens at the ground level. This course will definitely help in civil services, both central and state level.
Infrastructure: Basically, this course is not based on computers. We have a good department/classroom with political scientist quotes and photos that motivate me. It has fans, whiteboards, and its own library. There is no mess or canteen, so students have to bring their own food.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. Even our HOD is a Ph.D. holder. They are friendly and frank, and they clear our doubts. The course is relevant because it gives knowledge about politics, which is very important nowadays. Semester exams happen on schedule as the college comes under Utkal University, so exams are conducted according to the university guidelines.
Other: As I am preparing for UPSC, Political Science is a great subject for UPSC preparation. It gives diplomatic thinking and political knowledge. The course is good, but practical knowledge needs some improvement.

It is a very good college with more advantages.
Placements: 50% of students get placed. The package offered is cheap. Many students build their careers easily. Agricultural companies visit the college for placements. High-level courses provide better career options. Roles like junior scientist, etc., are offered by the college.
Infrastructure: The hostel is very clean. All rooms are big. Food quality and quantity are very good. Freshly prepared hygienic food is provided. The dining space is very big. Medical facilities are far better. Sports and games are played on weekends.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. Teaching quality is very good. Semester exams are not very difficult. The pass percentage is 30%. They help us in every exam. The course curriculum is relevant. There are many modern teaching instruments in our college.
Other: I chose this course because it is better than other courses and builds our career. It has many facilities. All things are going very well. Many more functions are also held.

A very good institute with real-life practical exposure.
Placements: I am a student of the MBA 2025- 2027 batch and a member of the Entrepreneurship Development cell. I got a very good internship in my first year. My seniors are now placed in good companies like TCI, Asian Heart, Owned, Reliance, House, Vyapar, and Ceasefire.
Infrastructure: There are good facilities like a digital language lab, smart classrooms, Wi-Fi support, a digital library, a training hall, a gym, and many other things. I have found my best place to study, a good environment with very good facilities for study, and the hostel and canteen are very good.
Faculty: The teachers are very good. They give practical training very well and focus on the weak students to improve them. Weak presentations and PI GD communication activities make students grow in communication and confidence-building which helps in future.
Other: Good to choose Srusti Academy of Management for MBA. Srusti Academy of Management organises workshops by real-life entrepreneurs for growth in entrepreneurship.

Review of Buxi Jagabandhu Bidyadhar Autonomous College.
Placements: I don't know much about placements, as I have sociology as an honours. But when talking to law students of our college, they have got lovely placements, but still, I don't know much about it. I do have friends there, but I don't know much about it or talk about it.
Infrastructure: I commute by home only and don't know much about hostels, but I have heard that the food is not so good, but it has good infrastructure. But all the conflicts arise between the hostels only, as two hostels reside on the campus of BJB Autonomous College.
Faculty: Teachers are lovely, teaching is the best thing in our faculty, as far as I know, they are qualified and knowledgeable. Course curriculum is relevant, it does make students industry-ready. As we are into civils, the faculty helps a lot and the HOD takes care that we are well taught.
Other: A lot of people have daily fights to keep us entertained. There are too many conflicts, but the police will always be there for safety purposes.
