Dissatisfied with placements and lab quality.
Placements: Our batch was from 2019 to 2023. There were 60 students in our batch. Out of which about 15 got placements. In our time period, only Cipla came to college for a walk-in interview (no specific placement), but now more placements are being offered. The highest package they offered was something around 2.5 lakhs per annum.
Infrastructure: There are labs for respective courses, but the lab facility is poor. Wi-Fi was available. There are about 3 classrooms. The hostel was okay. One room was provided for 4 students, but it was not so clean and sanitized. But the bathrooms in hostels were always clean. The hostel has a canteen for lunch and dinner. But you can also take meal subscription from outside.
Faculty: The faculty are nice and good. All are knowledgeable, qualified, and helpful. They all support you and also motivate you for competitive exams. The curriculum is not nice. Semester exams are not so difficult, and also, the teachers make you ready for your semester in the best possible way by completing the syllabus.
Other: The best thing about this course is it provides you with opportunities for various jobs, like in industries, production units, and government jobs too. If the college could provide better infrastructure and good lab maintenance, then it would be much better for students to learn. Events, fests, and the campus are very good.

The college campus is good but its faculty members are very good.
Placements: Minimum 80-90% of students are placed each year. In this course the highest package is almost 10-12lac per annum and the lowest package is like 4-5 LPA. Almost 80% of students got internship from our college. College campus is okay but the faculty members are very well educated.
Infrastructure: Classroom, labs, library, Wi-Fi all facilities are available. Classrooms are completely neat and clean. But the campus is very small. It would have been better if the campus was a little bigger. Hostel room is okay, canteen food is also good.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is also good. This course will help you a lot for your career. Exams are not difficult. Teachers make it very easy. Faculty members are very knowledgeable and qualified. Teaching quality is excellent.

Extremely Satisfied and be fortunate to continuing a professional course here.
Placements: We have 65 seats for one batch, this year big pharmaceutical companies like ranbaxy, sun pharma, cipla, zydus, Abbott, alkem, are visited our campus and near about 42 students out of 59 got placements with a package of salary worth 54-78k per month.
Infrastructure: All facilities like high-speed internet, a library of capacity 100 students and all developed instruments are available inside the laboratories of our department. Every year PCI arrange a inter college pharma cup for all pharmacy college coming under it. Also our university premier league arranged in January, every year in different games like cricket, volleyball, badminton etc.
Faculty: Teachers are extremely talented and highly qualified, all have Ph.D. all are assistant professor. They help us a lot to clear our syllabus related doubt as well as also give instructions to handle difficulties in LIFE. Semester is too tough, because of presence of external and CCTV surveillance. But 98% students cleared all the papers in exam.
Other: As I was a fresher joined a professional course like pharmacy because I have a lot of interest in medical field so I boycott technical profession like engineering. If online classes and medical training and industry tours arranged in higher amount during graduation, we will be highly grateful. Every year department organized a picnic, 3-4 fest and many students got scholarship under our state government.

Top pharmacy college in Odisha.
Placements: Placements are quite average in this 2025 season. Two companies, like McLeods and Informal, visited our campus. Mostly, students are placed in different companies. Students are placed in different products or units in the Pharma sector. The highest package offered is 3.2 LPA, and the lowest package offered is 1.8 LPA. One month of hospital training is compulsory for the degree.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good as it is a government college. Wi-Fi is available all over the campus with CCTV security. There are government hostels for boys and girls inside the campus. Mostly, students do not get government hostels, so they stay outside the college. Classrooms are very good with projectors and smart boards. Labs are well-equipped and have all the operators and equipment used in the industry. Various grounds are available for cricket, volleyball, basketball, etc.
Faculty: Teachers are good, knowledgeable, and professional. They all are highly experienced. All of them have done their post-graduation in Pharmacy. The course curriculum is very good and makes us ready for the industry. There are two semesters conducted by the University, Biju Patnaik University of Technology. Each semester has two sessionals conducted by the college.

Good college. Stay away from politics.
Placements: As it is a government college, placements are very average. This year, only Macloids and Aurobindo Pharma visited our college. The highest package offered was 2.5 LPA, and the lowest package offered was 1.7 LPA. There are no internships provided by the company. Mostly, students are placed in different production units in the pharma industry.
Infrastructure: The library is good, and all types of pharmacy and technology books are available. Labs are spacious and have all the apparatus used in the industry. The hostel is good, and Wi-Fi is available all over the campus. There are a cricket ground, a volleyball court, and a badminton court present. Mess food is average.
Faculty: Faculty members are good. They are highly educated and experienced. They use simple language, which is easy to understand. The course curriculum is good, it makes us ready for the industry. There are two semesters in a year, and each semester has two sessions, which are conducted by the college.
