Really amazing faculty and amazing infrastructure.

Placements: Our college does provide internship opportunities to all the passed-out students after completing the final year of the 4.5-year B.A.M.S. course. The internship lasts for 1 year, and they offer a stipend of 15 thousand per month. Hostels are not yet provided.

Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is great. There is a proper lab for each subject, and classrooms are well-furnished and maintained. However, there isn't much variety of food available in the canteen, and Wi-Fi is not provided. The hospital offers excellent medical facilities, and a sports meet is held every year with a proper playground. Hostels are not available yet.

Faculty: The teachers are very qualified and knowledgeable. Exams are neither very hard nor easy; it basically depends on your preparation. You need to score a minimum of 50 percent in each subject to pass. Smart classes are provided.

Other: Ayurvedic Medicine is an excellent course to pursue as it is an ancient path that helps you become an excellent doctor in the future. Fests are not organized yet.

Worth it course and college.

Placements: 90% of the students got placed on campus this year. INR 12 LPA was the highest package offered, INR 5 LPA was the lowest package offered and INR 8 LPA is the average package at the college. The top recruiters were Patanjali and Dabur. The roles offered were those of junior doctor and ayurvedic doctor.

Infrastructure: Everything is available in the college, including the canteen, library, sports and laboratory. There's no hostel right now but one hotel is currently being built. The food in the canteen is hygienic and tasty. There are various sports available, like cricket, football and basketball.

Faculty: The family is very supportive and responsive. Teachers rarely take leave and the method of teaching is very good. The course is up-to-date with the skills required in the real world and in professional life. The exams and semester are moderately tough.

Other: This course has a high ROI and also has relatively low completion. There are many fest and extracurricular activities on campus and the vibe is also good.

My college life in Dehradun - The faculty of Ayurveda.

Placements: Medical college does not provide any placement to anyone. When you complete the course, you can do a job in medical residence as a president medical officer. The salary depends on how much you put effort into your study and practice. If you have a good practice, they provide you with good money or you can open your clinic which depends on you.

Infrastructure: The course is good. You have to study both modern as well as Ayurveda simultaneously. You have to study all the subjects of medicine like in MBBS and also have to study Ayurveda in-depth. Hostels are not bad but they are not also great. Its annual charge is Rs.15,000. A tiffin service is available.

Faculty: Teachers are good and have vast knowledge of their subjects. They are also very supportive towards students. Most of the faculty are Ph.D. from Ayurveda BHU. The curriculum is vast. You have to study yourself in-depth to pass the exam. The university exams are held every 18 months and semester exams every 6 months. We have 3 tests each month.

Other: The campus is very good. Life of Dehradun is very good.

Candidate shall have passed Class 12 or its equivalent examination from any recognized Board with Physics, Chemistry and Biology, and shall have obtained mentioned percentage taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Candidates who have passed Class 12 from Open School or as private candidates shall not be eligible to appear for the ‘National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test’. However, this has been a subject matter of challenge before the Hon’ble High Court of Delhi, Hon’ble High Court of Allahabad, Lucknow Bench, and Hon’ble High Court of Madhya Pradesh at Jabalpur. Result awaited candidates can also apply however such candidates does not pass the qualifying examination with the required pass percentage at the time of first round of Counselling.
