Our college provides good placements and facilities.

Placements: 50 percent of students are placed from our course. The highest package offered is 3 LPA. The top recruiting companies for the B.Sc (Hons.) Microbiology courses are Biocon, Apollo Hospital, pharmaceutical companies and pathology labs. Roles offered in this course are Medical Lab Technician, Microbiologist, QA Analyst, QC Officer, Food Microbiologist, etc.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available for this course are labs which are divided as a Microbiology Lab, Basic Biotechnology Lab, and Advanced Biotechnology Lab. Other facilities are a library, where many books are available related to this course. The food quality of the hostel is above average. There are various sports available in the college, such as tug of war, basketball, football, and badminton. Important days are celebrated, and students are told to prepare presentations, posters, etc.

Faculty: The teaching quality for this course varies from student to student. The teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Most of the lecturers and professors hold Ph.D. degrees in biotechnology, microbiology, and life sciences. They have done research in fields like microbiology and genetics. They teach us using presentations and by providing notes. The difficulty level of semester exams is average, it depends on the student to student. The passing percentage for semester exams is 33%.

Other: I chose this course because I had an interest in the field of microbiology. The best thing about my course is that it provides a hands-on experience to every student. Our college also organizes events, a fest on Diwali, it also conducts seminars and conferences.

I am satisfied according to the fee, and the facilities are good.

Placements: Our batch has a comparatively less number of students than biotech B.Sc. However, as they say, if there are few students, then the placements stats will be better. On average, there really isn't anything regarding placements in our course. However, if any company visits, then the salary package offered at that time would be approximately 4 LPA-6 LPA. I haven't seen any top recruiting company yet. Companies visit here on a 4-3 Tera gap. About 20% of students get placed in normal Indian healthcare companies but not in top-notch companies. Students can be a microbiologist in any science companies like pharma, dairy and hospitals also.

Infrastructure: Facilities are quite satisfying here. Our college has a central library, which is well maintained, well furnished, well cleaned and highly under quite good supervision. Our college has its own labs, and even they have all the necessary equipment. I never felt like my parents wasted their money spending in this college as it provided good facilities. It totally satisfied me. You can use unlimited data in an internet cafe or 1 GB of data on your laptop through university administration. The classrooms are quite furnished, cleaned and are quite huge. The quality of facilities provided in the hostel is good. I am a day scholar, so I don't know much about the hostel. However, my friends tell me that they just have one issue, i.e., with the food. I felt the food would obviously not be good.

Faculty: The teachers here are good, knowledgeable and PhD holders. They would entertain you to improve your curiosity. Their teaching quality is quite good. The course is a little relevant to the curriculum. Semester exams are moderately tough, and if you're prepared, then you will surely perform well.

Other: I chose this course to learn more about biology at the micro-level. You get to learn about the growth of life and learn new aspects of using microorganisms according to need. The research area is needed to develop. Everything a private college has is available in this college also.

College is good, and I recommend you join this university.

Placements: In my course, overall 2000+ were placed. The average salary in this course is around 3.5 LPA with companies like Jubilant Biosys, TCS, etc. Roles include microbiologist, quality control executive, research assistant, etc. As I am new, I only know this much about my course.

Infrastructure: The facilities in my university building are fair enough not too luxurious nor too poor. Wi-Fi is of average speed, labs are good with adequate facilities, and the library is also fine in my building. However, the university has a separate central library. The quality of that, according to my friend, is average. Sports, medical, and canteen facilities are fine.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful. I find my teachers knowledgeable, and they support students. As we are fewer in quantity, that may be a reason too. The curriculum is relevant, and it makes the students ready for the industry. The semester, till now for me, is not too difficult, with average study, you can score a good CGPA.

Other: I chose this course because I want to become a biotechnologist. Till now, everything is fine. Events are good, but this is my first fest, and it was canceled, so I feel bad. Extracurricular activities are good.
