Uttaranchal University review .

Placements: Placement is good in our college. Companies like Accenture, Deloitte, and Arvind Fashion Ltd. come to our college to teach students. 30% of students got placed in our course. Companies seeking internships also come to our college. The average package is 500000 in a year.

Infrastructure: There is also hostel availability with a good facility and a four-time meal. The quality of the food is not that good. The infrastructure is great and the facilities are too good. Teachers are available for help at any time. They give good advice and guidance to students.

Faculty: The faculty is very good and understanding helps students in many ways. Extracurricular activities are also provided, like patent writing and many other things. Semester exams are not that difficult; they help you by providing revision tests and giving important questions.

Other: I was a student at Uttaranchal University and pursued a B.Sc. honors math. Fest is also there.

All about Uttaranchal University.

Placements: The course is about pure mathematics and its applications in real life. Various industrial visits workshops are pedagogical activities done in this course. More than 200 companies visited our campus for placement purposes. Approximately 75% of the students get the placement from the campus itself. But this course doesn't offer any internship opportunities. With this course, you can prepare for various competitive exams such as civil services examination, Indian economy services, NDA etc. The average placement package from this University is 4.9 LPA.

Infrastructure: Labs, classrooms, hostel and library are fully enabled with Wi-Fi. You can get access to your course-related books from the library itself. All the required amenities are provided in the hostel room B.Ed mattresses, almirah, desk and chair. The quality of the food is good with a variety of 4-time meals provided throughout the week including chicken on Sunday. There's a facility for playing badminton inside the hostel. A medical facility is on standby 24/7 including a private university ambulance.

Faculty: Faculty to student ratio is good. If you are preparing for competitive exams then you should definitely choose this course. Faculty members are well educated with PhD degrees. Semester exams are quite moderate and anyone can pass the exams through self-study.

Good faculty, great campus, excellent placements.

Placements: Various renowned companies visit the campus for solo as well as pool drive. Special classes are also given to prepare the students for the placement procedure. The companies that came this for mathematics students were WIPRO, AMAZON, SAP INDIA, DECATHLON etc. The placement rate was also high. The highest salary offered was 9lpa and the lowest 3lpa.

Infrastructure: The college has Wi-Fi facility. We have a cafeteria, a canteen and a food court. Beside this we even have shops, salon and guest house within the campus. The computer labs are well-equipped and the library is huge with extra separate rooms for reading, periodicals and digital lab.

Faculty: The faculty is qualified and knowledgeable. They are supportive and helpful. As for the mathematics department the teaching method mainly includes the traditional classroom method and power point slides. Yes, we get industry exposure. An industrial tour is compulsory every semester.

Other: Various renowned celebrities are invited for cultural fest. The sports team go various places to play matches.

What is the career scope after B.Sc(Hons.) mathematics?

You can prepare for UPSC civil services examination. You can go for other government jobs too or you may go for your post graduate degree and then for Ph.D.
