The relevant review for the Mechanical Engineering branch in BIT Sindri.

Faculty: Teachers are very qualified and knowledgeable. Most of them are helpful. The quality of teaching is also good. You will understand better if you ask doubts or request explanations for the parts you are unable to understand. The course is relevant and industry-ready, but students must study diligently. The semester exams are conducted by JUT. So the papers are mostly of medium difficulty.

Good college great placement in low feels.

Faculty: The curriculum is the same as that of other engineering colleges. Faculty members are good, but don't mess with them. It's not too hard to score a CGPA if you are not too dumb. So you can enjoy as well. Semester exams are easy, and almost everyone passes. You have to do it by yourself; teachers will only help a little, but that's still not too hard. Seniors are helpful if you can make good bonds with them.

I am not satisfied with the college. The fee charged is very low.

Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable, but staff members' behaviour is egoistic. They never talked in a good manner. Many teachers are only for department handling. They all are egoistic and arrogant. They think they own their department. Exams are random and have no experience for students, which I regret. I know college will never make me industry-ready.

College placements and hostel facilities. A deep dive into a well-known government institution.

Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable and understand their subjects well. However, since BIT is recognised under JUT, delays are inevitable. Students often receive results after an entire year of their semester. Exams are also frequently delayed. For example, in this year, being in the 4th semester, only the result of the 1st semester has been declared.

Really good placements in the year 2024 and a great campus vibe overall.

Faculty: Most of the professors really know their stuff, especially in the core departments. They are approachable if you go to their cabins, but some are just there to read out PPTs. The course is mostly theory, so you'll have to do extra courses online to be job-ready. Semester exams aren't impossible, but the internal marking is tight, you really have to stay on their good side for those marks.

I'm fairly satisfied. ROI is good.

Faculty: Teachers and professors are qualified, and 80% of them have a PhD. The teaching quality is good, and the curriculum is a bit outdated, but it does the job. The difficulty level of exams is normal. The pass percentage is 35%. It doesn't really make students industry-ready, though.

It is a very good college for core branches.

Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and their teaching quality is good. They are very friendly. The semester exams are conducted by the Jharkhand board and are not too difficult if you study but don’t study overnight, questions are easy. There are 2 midterms of 10 marks and an end semester of 80 marks.

Good as per the fee of my college, it is the best college.

Faculty: Professors are well-qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is also good. The course curriculum makes a student industry-ready but in practical knowledge it is a little less. College semesters are not that hard if you have resources and an idea of what to study. The pass percentage for 70 marks is 21 marks passing and for 100 marks, 35 marks is passing.

Overall, the return on investment is very solid.

Faculty: All teachers are good, while the faculty members are very experienced and knowledgeable. Faculty members do help us in projects and are very cooperative. The curriculum is followed as per J U T with 2 mid-sems in each semester. Labs are very efficient, which makes students industry-ready.

I think this college should improve on the curriculum, on-time lectures and results.

Faculty: Exams are conducted frequently, but teachers are only interested in completing the syllabus. The relevance of the syllabus is questionable. You have to study for yourself. It's not difficult to pass the semester if you study regularly. Almost 98% of students pass the semester exam.

They have good knowledge, and their behaviour is good.

Faculty: Teachers are well-trained and well-qualified. The teaching quality of our teachers is very good because they all studied at IIT. The semester exams were very hard in our college, and the passing marks in each subject were in the 33rd percentile.

A good state government college for core branches like mechanical and mental mining.

Faculty: The course is well-designed and run in coordination with JUT. Professors are polite and are always helpful. Teachers also help in our GATE preparation, guide us on the right path. Exams are held regularly. We will not be able to even recognise when 1st semester ended.

Our college is good for students for their overall development.

Faculty: All teachers are highly qualified and very helpful. They guide us like children. The difficulty level is medium. The passing percentage is 80–90 percent. Some issues arise while taking exams, like the syllabus not being completed. We have to complete our syllabus by ourselves.

It has absolutely amazing faculty members and good placements.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and kind as well. They are highly qualified and knowledgeable, and because of this, the teaching quality is very good. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams in my college are neither too easy nor too difficult. The pass percentage is approximately 94 percent.
