The relevant review for the Mechanical Engineering branch in BIT Sindri.

Placements: Hello everyone, I am in the Mechanical Engineering branch of B.Tech at Birsa Institute of Technology Sindri in the Dhanbad district of Jharkhand. The placement rate for my branch last year was around 95%. The highest package is 18 LPA. The lowest package is 5 LPA, and the average package is 8 LPA for the Mechanical Engineering branch. The top recruiting companies are Tata Steel, Vedanta, JSW, JSL, L&T, etc. Around 50% of students get internships at companies such as Tata Motors, Larsen & Toubro ...

Good college great placement in low feels.

Placements: For core, it's very good for metallurgical, mining, mechanical, and electrical engineering; these are the best branches of the college. In metallurgy, there is 100% placement for eligible candidates. Top companies like Tata Steel, Vedanta, JSW, JSPL, and Reliance visit the campus for our branch, along with other companies, for placements and internships. Overall, it's very good for metallurgical engineering; the average is around 7-8 LPA, and the highest is 14.5 LPA, which is the same as NIT JSR...

I am not satisfied with the college. The fee charged is very low.

Placements: No jobs are offered in college. There is no vacancy. It is only for a degree and nothing more than that, because it is a government college. There are no opportunities in our course. It offers opportunities for BBA and BMLT students as courses are vocational. Managers and small companies recruit them because the town is very small and half an urban area.

College placements and hostel facilities. A deep dive into a well-known government institution.

Placements: B.Tech course in Civil Engineering is a rigorous discipline. The first year is common throughout. Core subjects are taken strictly from the 3rd semester. With advanced labs and equipment, highly trained engineers are expected after course completion. However, knowledge and discipline have nothing to do with placements. At BIT Sindri, with a limited number of companies. The job scenario has not improved much since independence. The Civil Engineering department has around 150 students, including b...

Really good placements in the year 2024 and a great campus vibe overall.

Placements: Honestly, about 70-80% of our batch got placed. TCS and Infosys are the mass recruiters here, but if you have a high GPA, you can aim for firms like Amazon or Zomato. The average package is around 4.5 LPA, but I know a senior who bagged 12 LPA. The placement cell is helpful but very strict about attendance during the drives.

I'm fairly satisfied. ROI is good.

Placements: Only about 50-55% of the students are placed, with the highest package being 11 LPA and the lowest being 3.5 LPA. The top recruiters are Tata Steel, JSW, and Vedanta. Internships are around 60%. The top roles include senior research analyst and senior engineer.

No, direct admissions are not available to various courses at Sir J.J College of Architecture. Most of the admissions are dependent on the entrance test scores such as JEE MainNATA & PGETA.

Refer to the seat intake of various courses available at Sir J.J College of Architecture:

  • B.Arch - 74

These seats may increase in the future as per the course demand and the increasing competition for the available courses.
