The VBSPU ‘Rozgar Mela’ or the job fair is the University’s secondary support to provide placement support. Besides this facility, the University’s primary support is to make sure to prepare the students sufficiently enough to achieve a job based on their skill set. The University helps the students prepare for the interviews and gives job-specific training providing them with a more practical approach to the work ahead.

Q:   Is there a placement cell at VBSPU?
A: 

Yes, VBSPU has a placement cell known by the name of Central Training and Placement Cell (CTPC). The placement cell issues a planner which is with an every-year plan, wherein, the CTPC conducts orientation programs, special lectures/sessions, and life skill programs/workshops. CTPC concentrates on consistent collaboration with the recruiters which further brings in offers and deals for the benefit of the students. The companies and CTPC coordinate along to provide a convenient time to organize tests, interviews, and discussions based on the student preferences. A pre-placement talk is then conducted for all the eligible students, concerning their interests. After all these formalities, the companies and organizations make the selections based on all the criteria and then declare the results along with other necessary details.

It is good for low budget students as well as looking for scholarship opportunity.
Placements: Percentage of placement is very less like 2/40. Some paid and some unpaid internships are offered. No big companies or MNCs are represented in this college. The startup company's approach is good, and they took some students.
Infrastructure: Everything is fine and available like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library, conference hall, playground, park, etc. There is a hostel but none of the students stay there and take a PG or room near the college. Canteen is there. Medical facilities are there. Sports and games can be played on the ground attached to the college.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are knowledgeable, and they are supportive in every manner. Course curriculum is very nice because students can choose their specialisation in the industry. Before the semester exams, there is a unit test for revision, which makes the pass percentage good but not 100%.
Other: The best thing about choosing this course is my passion for becoming a software engineer on a very low budget. Events, fests, connectivity, campus surroundings, scholarship up to 80-90%, extracurricular activities, etc., all the stuff are good.

Very good college and college's condition is best.
Placements: Very good. Around 70% of students in our batch were placed. Highest package was 7 LPA, and average package was around 3 LPA. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Deloitte, and Infosys visited our campus. Many students got internships in audit and finance roles through campus drives.
Infrastructure: Good. Campus infrastructure is well-maintained with good Wi-Fi connectivity, air-conditioned classrooms, a fully equipped library, and modern labs. Hostel facilities are decent with clean rooms and proper security. Food in the mess is hygienic and affordable. Sports facilities like basketball and cricket grounds are also available.
Faculty: Good. Faculty members were very supportive, well-qualified, and had good teaching experience. Curriculum was up to date and relevant to the current industry needs. Semester exams were moderately difficult, and the pass percentage was quite high.
Other: Good. Campus life was enjoyable with a friendly and diverse crowd. Regular fests and cultural events made student life exciting. Environment was safe, and the campus was well-connected to the city. Extracurricular activities and clubs were also active and engaging.

The faculty is excellent and the infrastructure is decent, but placements could improve.
Placements: I study at Technical Education and Research Institute, Ghazipur, which is affiliated with Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University, Jaunpur. My honest opinion is that the placements at our college are very bad because very few companies come here.
Infrastructure: Our college's infrastructure is good, and our labs are very good, with all facilities provided to students. However, the classes are not maintained perfectly. Overall, everything is fine in our college because the library is very nice for learning peacefully and with full focus. Our canteen and hostels are also very structured and clean.
Faculty: Our college teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is very good and presentable. Our BCA course is very good and prepares us to get a job. The college's semester exams are not very difficult but are challenging. Our college's pass percentage is 60%.
Other: My honest reason for choosing the BCA course was to change my career for the better and get a job in the IT sector. I wish the placements were better at our college. Our college does provide students with good scholarships.

Faculty: Teachers are experienced and supportive, and the curriculum is industry-relevant and well-structured. Exams are conducted fairly with regular assessment, practical, and doubt-clearing sessions to ensure deep understanding and strong results. They are awesome.

Good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: I have done a B.A. From here. I was enrolled in the 2023 batch. This college has not given such a big placement, but it is good for character building, making discipline in life. Make students ready to prepare for Government jobs and other good private jobs. Courses like M.A., BTC, and D.Pharma are also available here.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of this college is excellent. Big airy rooms with CCTV cameras, fans and good light. There is no hostel because it is in a very rural area. There is no mess, no canteen for students. There are basic medical facilities available here. There is a big sports ground for Volleyball, Football, and many small games.
Faculty: Teachers here are very helpful and humble in nature. They make us understand everything very clearly with kind words. They are well qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is awesome and praiseworthy. Teaching is absolutely good. Course is curriculum-relevant and prepares students for exams. Semester exams are not too hard and not too easy, it's a kind of moderate. Pass percentage is very high here. It's around 97 to 98 percent every year.
Other: I chose this course because I was interested in those subjects that I had chosen. Best thing about my course is that I like the subjects. National events like Republic Day and Independence Day are celebrated here. Connectivity and Surroundings are very good here. It's peaceful. This college is good at providing scholarships. Many extracurricular activities, like camping and a social awareness programme, are done here.

If you are in Jaunpur so it's best universities in Jaunpur.
Placements: Low placement level, from my course 2 or 3 people got placement. But not sure about every year the people got that and it's just a graduation. So there are no changes of high placement but university starts internship for students. It provides us every government plans benefits, helps us with them.
Infrastructure: Very good infrastructure and facilities in our department. We have library, conference hall, computer lab, and water facilities. They provide study material and at university I think all the facilities are available including games and extracurricular activities.
Faculty: Teachers are so helpful, if you have problems in study, they give you extra time to solve them and help you. They provide us extra classes for skill development and student development, call teachers from other college and experienced teachers for classes and seminars.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted a degree in graduation and it's not just B.Com it's B.Com (Hons). It provides us with specialisation and campus provides good facilities. Canteen is not that much developed but other things are so good.
