The VSSUT average package offered to the students during the 2025 placement is yet to be released. However, the VSSUT average package offered in 2024 was INR 6.38 LPA. Earlier, the average package offered during VSSUT placements 2023 was INR 6.96 LPA.

There are two ways to join VSSUT without JEE:

1. Through the OJEE: VSSUT accepts OJEE scores for admission to its B.Tech program. The OJEE is a state-level entrance exam conducted by the Government of Odisha for admission to engineering and technology programs in the state.
2. Through lateral entry: VSSUT offers lateral entry admission to its B.Tech programme for students who have completed a Diploma in engineering and technology from a recognised institution.
