The admission to BA courses at Vidya Bharati University is primarily based on CUET scores. Also, candidates who are willing to secure a seat in the BA course must complete their Class 12 with decent scores. However, a CUET-UG score is not required for some BA specialisations available at VBU. For taking admission without CUET UG scores, candidates should have secured good scores in Class 12 so, they can be selected in the merit list. Therefore, candidates are not allowed to get direct admission to BA courses, they either have to get selected in the merit list or score well in the CUET UG entrance examination.

Yes, Visva Bharati does offer BA courses in three-year and four-year undergraduate degree courses. Visva Bharti offers BA specialisations in languages, dance forms, and other various subjects. The total number of 18 specialisations available in a three-year BA programme and four specialisations in four-year BA courses. For admission to these BA courses candidates are required to complete their Class 12 with a decent score, and the university accepts the CUET UG scores for admission.  

The eligibility criteria for each BA specialisation available at Visva Bharati University are different. The primary eligibility criteria that are common for all BA courses are candidates must qualify for Class 12 with an aggregate of 50% to 75%. Candidates have to score well in the subject they want to specialise in. Visva Bharati University offers 18 specialisations in three-year BA courses and four specialisations in the four-year BA (Hons.) programme. Rabindranath Tagore founded Viva Bharati University, which is a central research university and an Institute of National Importance in West Bengal, India. It embodies the Tagorean idea of the development of the full person. The University is granted the designation of a unitary, residential, and academic institution. Viva Bharati University is approved by UGC and is accredited by NAAC with a B grade. Viva Bharati University has been ranked 98 among the top 100 universities in India by NIRF 2022. The courses offered by the Institute are B.A. M.A. BFA B. Des B.Sc. MSW and many more. The mode of admission to the Institute is CUET or other entrance exams. Admission to the UG programmes will be done through the entrance test called CUET in Visva Bharati University, and admissions to postgraduate programmes will be done on the performance of the candidates in the entrance examination.
