Q:   What is the cutoff for admission to BE in Computer Science and Engineerin at VTU?
A: 

The KCET Cutoff 2025 was released for admission to the BE/BTech courses for various categories under both the All India and Home State quotas. 

For the General AI category, the overall cutoff varied between 234 and 261973. The maximum rank at which admissions are entertained was 261973. Please keep in mind that the cutoff for other courses, categories, etc., will vary.

VTU COMEDK UGET cutoff 2025 was published till 4 rounds of cutoff for various categories belonging to the All India and Home State quota. The cutoff was released in the form of opening and closing ranks for admission to the BE course specialisations.

Q:   What is the year-wise cutoff trend for MBA at VTU?

The VTU MBA cutoff 2025 was released for admission to various affiliated colleges for the Gender-Neutral candidates under the All India quota.

Dissatisfied with placements but satisfied with infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: They have many good companies coming for placements and provide good internship opportunities in the 3rd year. The placement cell is good and is always trying to bring more companies. Placements are average this year, maybe because the market is like that, and there is not much hiring happening anywhere.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is pretty good. It is not a huge campus, but it is well-maintained. They have separate blocks for every branch, and Wi-Fi is available in most of the blocks. The library is also very good and has good Wi-Fi. Sports facilities are not that good, but I have heard they will be improved within a year. The hostel is also good, but it is purely vegetarian.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and well-qualified. Their teaching is good, and the courses are also well designed, involving a lot of project-based learning. Internal exams are easy to moderate. But it is harder to score good marks in semester-end exams because the papers are usually tougher than the internals.

Review of AGMR College of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: Placements in our college are average because only a limited number of companies visit the campus every year. Some students get placed in small and mid-level companies with average salary packages. Internship opportunities are also limited so students need to improve their skills on their own to get better career opportunities.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are also average. The cultural activities are also done very well. The infrastructure and facilities in our college are average. Classrooms, labs, library, and Wi-Fi are available but need improvement in maintenance and modern equipment. Hostel facilities are manageable and the food quality in the mess and canteen is okay.
Faculty: Faculty members are moderate. Here, not that many faculty members available. Faculty members are supportive and qualified but the teaching quality is moderate. The curriculum covers the basics of the course though it is not fully industry-oriented. Semester exams are not very difficult if students study regularly. Practical learning and advanced facilities are limited so students must learn extra skills independently.
Other: It is a student-friendly college. Cultural activities and events are conducted well and students participate actively.

The college is good and satisfactory. Campus life is good. Teachers are very helpful.
Placements: Placements are quite good since a good number of students get placed every year. The average package ranges from 6–7 LPA. The highest package has reached up to 53 LPA. As of now, my seniors have said that a decent number of students have been placed this year.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is quite good. The library is spacious. Classrooms are good. There is a football turf, basketball court, cricket ground, badminton court, and sports room present on the campus. Wi-Fi in the library is amazing. The canteen is quite good. The environment is student-friendly.
Faculty: Teachers are well knowledgeable about the subject. Some teachers teach us things apart from the syllabus, which helps build a growing mindset. Teachers are really helpful and encouraging, and support us with our ideas. They even give us ideas on real-world projects, which increases knowledge beyond academics.

The college is decent and good for ECE students.
Placements: Around 85% of students get placed every year from the ECE department. The top recruiting companies are Bosch, Wipro, IBM, Accenture, and many others. Top roles include Full Stack Developer, DevOps Engineer, VLSI Engineer, etc. The highest package this year from the ECE department is 53.5 LPA, and the average package is 7.5 LPA. The lowest package of 3–4 LPA is offered in mass recruitment companies. Around 70% of students in the ECE department get internships.
Infrastructure: The ECE department in our college has good infrastructure with well-equipped labs and a well-maintained library. We have smart classrooms and digital resources. Hostel facilities are decent with basic amenities and security. The quality of food in the mess is good. Overall, the campus provides a comfortable environment for students.
Faculty: Faculty members in the ECE department are generally helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Most teachers are supportive in academics and projects. The course curriculum is relevant and covers core ECE subjects along with emerging technologies like AI and machine learning.
Other: I chose ECE because it offers both electronics and software career options. The course is good, and adding more industry training, internships, and advanced tech exposure would make it better.

Placements: The placements are good. Around 70 percent of students got placed in EC and the mean and median can be checked from the RVCE vertical which gets updated every year. The average package is 18 LPA and the median is 17 LPA. The highest package is 36 LPA and the lowest is 5.5 LPA. Top recruiters would be Texas Instruments.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are school-type, labs are good though, hostel rooms are very good but the mess depends on your taste. If you are from the North, they make sambaar, rice, and rasam every day be it lunch or dinner. The breakfast is good especially the Sunday dosa. Sports and medical facilities are nonexistent.
Faculty: Teachers are above average I would say. The course is good. The curriculum is updated every 5 years so for now we are studying the newest syllabus. The semester exams are doable in the first year. 98 percent of students passed. The main thing is EL it carries around 140 marks and it's basically a group project per semester.
