Yes, VIT Andhra Pradesh University does offer a Bachelor degree programme as  a dual degree programme with Master of Arts. The dual degree programme is offered in a full-time mode. The UG+PG level course lasts for five-year with ten semesters that combines core subjects with a major. However, the BA-MA dual degree comes with an exit option which allows students to earn different degrees provided they fulfill the credit requirements. After successful completion of three years with BA degree and four years with BA (Hons.) degree. 

VIT Andhra Pradesh University BA dual degree is a combination of two separate degree programmes: BA and MA. The dual degree programme is focused on Public Service. The programme allows students to prepare for UPSC examinations and at the same time secure the Bachelor and Master's degree along with a degree in the subject.

GV Merit Scholarship - Any board topper across the country will get a 100% scholarship for all the years of the UG degree

Tmt.Rajeswari Ammal Merit Scholarship - Any district topper across the country will get 50% scholarship for all the years of the UG degree programme. If the district topper is a girl, she will get an additional 25% scholarship (making it 75% scholarship)

As per the VIT Andhra Pradesh University admission guidelines, entrance exam is not required to get admitted to the BA-MA course. Admission to VIT Andhra Pradesh University is determined by candidates' performance in their last qualifying exam. There are no entrance exams for the BA-MA course. Yes, VIT Andhra Pradesh University offers good annual placements for various courses like BTech, M.Tech and BA LLB, etc. The placements are going on for the Class of 2026. As of now, the participating recruiters presented 2197 job offers to the students of batch 2026. The VIT Andhra Pradesh highest package secured by batch 2026 stood at INR 96.26 LPA.

A total of 1799 students have been placed so far during VIT Andhra Pradesh placement 2026. The students also received 2197 job offers including 365 Dream offers with CTC of more than INR 10 LPA, 463 Dream offers of more than 6 LPA and 30 Marquee offers of more than 20 LPA salary.

According to  the latest report, more than 632 recruiters visited the VIT AP campus in 2025 and placed 10025 students of the batch 2025. This year, various national and multinational companies took part in the placement drive. Some of the top recruiters include Microsoft, Amazon, Accenture, TCS, Cognizant, Infosys, Google, etc.

VIT-AP University considers entrance exam scores for admission to BTech, MTech, MBA, PhD courses. Candidates are offered admission in BBA, BSc, Dual Degree courses, etc. based on merit. Such aspirants are directly called for personal interview round. 

Authorities will soon announce tentative dates for commencement of classes for VITEEE 2026 qualified candidates. After counselling process is over, classes are expected to commence for all candidates who have been allotted to BTech courses offered by campuses.
