The Vellore Institute of Technology (AP)'s flagship programme is BTech. VIT Amaravati provides full-time BTech programmes in three specialisations: computer science, electronics and communication, and mechanical. Furthermore, the university provides five sub-specialisations under BTech (CSE) and three under BTech (ECE). BTech courses last four years. Good average college, but if you study and want to engage, it will be good.

Placements: Okay, we should not expect 30 LPA like at those big events, but someone will get high, like 39 LPA. The remaining all get around 1 to 10 LPA. Placements are very few, average placements are low, and although the highest package may come, the average remains low. Placements depend on your skills.

Infrastructure: Good infrastructure, and the hostel is good, though the food is not that good. Good blocks and accommodation, with AC in some classes while some classes do not have AC, but overall good classrooms. Wi-Fi disconnects several times, but it is okay. There is a vast range of sports, and we can play as long as we want. Canteen facilities are available where we can buy and eat.

Faculty: Some faculty members are good, while some do not teach well. Exams are conducted every month. Exams are easy if we study, otherwise they are hard. The curriculum is outdated, but it is okay, and the pass percentage is 77 percent. If a student studies, it makes them industry-ready.

Other: The vibe is good, the crowd is excellent, and there are so many people to connect with and enjoy with no restrictions.

VIT- The heaven.

Placements: The placements are decent. The maximum package is 96 LPA. The average package is 8 LPA. The top companies offering placements are Myntra, UST, and Microsoft. The placements are centralized and equal opportunity is provided to all the campuses of VIT-Vellore and Andhra Pradesh.

Infrastructure: There are seven men's hostels and 3 ladies' hostels as of today. Hostels are equipped with Wi-Fi and all other modern facilities. Every day cleaning is done by the staff in the rooms and washrooms, and for corridors too. There are multiple mess in but and the food depends on the mess company.

Faculty: Exams are tough. There are 2 exams per semester CAT 1, CAT 2, and FAT. Apart from this there are lab examinations also for each semester. The course curriculum is provided at the start of each semester and for faculty there is FFCS to choose the faculty.

Modern industry-focused curriculum and strong placements.

Placements: 75 percent of students got placed. The average package is 6 LPA to 8 LPA with top hard-working students securing higher packages. The highest package is 72 LPA to 96 LPA in peak drives (such as via LinkedIn or major tech firms). Students are placed from my course.

Infrastructure: Rooms are generally well-maintained but student reviews rate the mess food as average or variable in taste and hygiene. The entire campus and hostel areas are Wi-Fi enabled to support academic and research needs. In our hostel some medical facilities are also available.

Faculty: Faculty members are well-qualified. Many hold PhDs or degrees from premier institutions, and students appreciate the flexible FFCS (fully flexible credit system) to choose teachers. Students can choose their courses, timings, and teachers based on personal career goals.

Other: I am interested in this course. Everything is good. We have Vitopia i.e., our cultural fest. They also organise Premier 4-day annual cultural event featuring music festivals, dance competitions, fashion shows, and guest celebrity/comedy acts such as Samay Raina.

Good campus and supportive environment and energy

Placements: I'm currently in my 4th year at VSL, placements are decent, with around 60-70% of people getting placed. Packages are around 5-10 LPA. Most students get internships in law firms, companies, courts and legal organisations. Common roles also include legal associates, assistants and researchers.

Infrastructure: Facilities here are well and good. There are options for AC and non AC rooms. There number of beds in each room that can be shared. They also provide good security and all the basic amenities. It's comfortable and convenient to stay as a student at VIT.

Faculty: Faculty are well qualified and are from NLUs. They are supportive and approachable. Most of them encourage students and explain the concepts clearly. They help us to participate in discussions, moot courts and other legal activities. The experience is good and also convenient to reach out.

Other: I have an interest in law and a good academic environment. The best part is the experience of legal activities.

Review of VIT, Andhra Pradesh.

Placements: Good placements are there but considering the fees, it's slightly overrated. The average package is 6 LPA and if you are a hardworking guy, you can get above 10 LPA. 96 LPA is the highest package and that was recruited by LinkedIn. More than half of the college is CSE students.

Infrastructure: There is a 200-acre campus but most of it is under construction. Wi-Fi is decent compared to other colleges, more freedom with the opposite gender than other VIT campuses. Mess food is average, if you are vegetarian the paneer provided is so little in quantity, with such bad taste.

Faculty: We can select our teachers. Semester exams are not that difficult. Maintaining an 8 CGPA throughout is not hard. At least 40 percent in the final exam is required and there are 2 midterm exams (CAT 1 and CAT 2). Quizzes and assignments are there, which also contribute to your grade.

VIT AP (CSE Core) College review.

Placements: As a 5th-semester (3rd-year) student, according to me, if you are really good at programming, you have great opportunities here. For summer internships, I get many opportunities from big, product-based companies. If we get selected, it could become a permanent position. Even in the final year, students get many opportunities from Dream (3 LPA) and Super Dream (6 LPA) companies. All you need to do is be prepared. Our CDC helps us a lot.

Infrastructure: Hostel facilities like ironing and separate messes for veg, non-veg, and special food are good at our college. The biryani on Sunday is also good, while other facilities are just like those in other colleges. The college infrastructure is as shown in other reviews and is good, although construction is still going on. There are many issues with Wi-Fi in the college and hostels too. We cannot connect more than one device, and once connected to one Wi-Fi network, we need to wait a long time to connect to another. However, the college lab computers have a great network. The quality of food is good, but I can't say it is great.

Faculty: I can't say faculty members are great, but they are also not too bad. Most faculty members don't provide much assistance until we ask for help. Courses like DAA, DSA, OS, and CNN from our syllabus are helpful for placements, but we still need to learn more on our own. Semester exams are based on the syllabus, and if we prepare from the PDFs, we can write them properly. The passing requirement for every theory subject in the final exam is 40%. We also need to clear the minimum cutoff according to the marks of all other students.
