There is much more to a college campus life than just lectures. It involves communication among students, trainings and campus cultural activities. Promoting an active campus life is GNIOT Group of Institutions, a Delhi-NCR-based institute offering courses in Engineering and Management. Founded in 2001, the group of institutes is under the umbrella of Shri Ram Educational Trust and has over 5,000 students studying here.

It has been approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) and is affiliated to Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow. At present, it offers courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The GNIOT - Greater Noida Institute of Technology institute got its first NBA accreditation in four major engineering branches in the year 2008.

Here’s what GNIOT does to ensure the all-round development of students and their connection, supporting them to achieve success:

  1. Entrepreneurship cell: To empower the young students through skills acquisition programmes, entrepreneurship development programs (EDPs) being organised to cultivate the business qualities in youth. The programme is designed to develop entrepreneurship taste & qualities along with imparting information on how to start and run a venture, schemes initiated by both State and Central government, project preparation, market survey, business management skills and other subjects related to entrepreneurship development. GNIOT Group of Institutions has an MSME Incubation Centre approved by Government of India.
  2. State-of-art infrastructure: GNIOT Group of Institutions provides state-of-the-art infrastructure which includes auditorium and seminar halls for students, faculty and corporate personalities for regular interactions, group activities, interfaces, conferences and other events.  At these platforms, students will come across various global leaders, academic leaders, corporate heads and CEOs who frequently share their corporate and industrial experiences. The auditorium and seminar halls are equipped with advanced presentation tools as well.
  3. Shree Ram Central Library: Learning and library are synonymous to each other. An educational institute without a library is like a body without a soul. Central library has the capacity to accommodate more than 500 students at a time. It has a collection of more than 1 lakh books of Indian and Foreign editions with around 12,000 titles. Besides, the subscription of over 125 National and International Print Journals and Magazines, it also has access to all AICTE recommended E-resources in Digital Library Section. GNIOT Group of Institutions is also a member of e-Consortium as initiated by AKTU-Lucknow. Besides the institute’s central library, various departmental libraries also exist for each department separately. Libraries include video conferencing facility and also provide learning methodology through SWAYAM & NPTEL video courses in the different fields of education.
  1. A safe campus environment: Protecting students, faculty and staff is one of the top priorities of the Institute. Institute has invested religiously in ensuring the safety and security measures, including; deploying 24 X 7 Security officers and persons, establishing an emergency notification system, arranging a network of emergency telephones, security cameras and enhanced outdoor lighting.
  2. Training platforms: GNIOT Group of Institutions is on a task to equip its students with appropriate skills & practical exposure through internships and trainings. GNIOT help its students in discovering their passion and subsequently turn their delight into their promising career. Increasingly, employers expect that students have internship experience so that students come to their first job as skilled and trained persons, ready to hit the ground running. In a big planned way, industrial trainings are the regular mandatory features at Greater Noida Institute of Technology (GNIOT).
